Plenty of quality at a nice price
For an egg cream? Give me Fox's U-Bet. That is my culture. But there comes a time to put away the toys of a child, I read somewhere. Here is when Torani jumps into the breach, dear friends. No nonsense chocolate sauce; and not a silly syrup. This is my favorite for fruit, yogurt, and who does not like ice cream, baby? You might fancy the pump for this big boy.I find no fault for what it is -- satisfying chocolate sauce. I have bought it again and again over a decade.

Great product.
I have been purchasing this product for about a year now. The price is great and the flavor is wonderful. I use about two pumps every morning to make my mocha coffee. What I have learned over the years is that because I leave it on the counter, I split the container in half. I refrigerate half to keep it from molding on the top. (Yuck, I know) I then wash the bottle and the pump out, let them dry and then refill the container with the refrigerated mocha.

Great sauce - make sure you get the right pump!
I use this to make mocha coffee every morning. Much nicer than the powdered cocoas I had been using. I use it with a pump handle (Torani Pump For 64 Ounce Bottle - Gold 0.5 Ounce). The pump handle attaches directly to the chocolate sauce container, but BEWARE - you will end up with a delicious, chocolaty mess on the bottle and counter if you don't get some of the sauce out first - putting the pump in will cause the sauce to overflow. Also, make sure you order the correct pump - the one I have listed above. I carelessly ordered the one that amazon recommended - big mistake. The one amazon recommends for this container (64 oz) is the one that fits their 25.4 oz syrup bottles. Super annoying.

Have purchased many times, but....
Update: I was never offered a refund or credit on the last order. So after over a year I decided to try and order this again. This time they sent me a bottle that had been damaged before they even shipped it. There was a small puncture in the bottle that was ignored and then packaged and shipped. Would have been hard not to notice this as the label was damaged.I wish I had thought to take a picture. I ordered the chocolate syrup like I have done many times before and for the first week or so it seemed ok. But pretty quickly it just tasted off. I opened it when the pump seemed clogged and found the bottle full of mold. Needless to say I was pretty upset and grossed out. I have had this syrup last a long time before with no problems. This bottle was only ok for a couple weeks. Unfortunately by the time I thought about complaining the return window was closed. Not sure I will order again.

For Christmas we got a Saeco espresso machine - this is the brand Starbucks sells, and we know Starbucks well, so we purchased the chocolate (and syrups) SBUX uses, Fontana... It wasn't until I tasted that chocolate separate from my drink that i realized i really really did NOT like it. I looked on Amazon and saw the recommendation of Torani and of Hershey's Special Dark. I bought small bottles of both of those at our local grocery store and tested them.Of the three, Torani won. By far. It is the only one that to me mimicked melted chocolate. With a flavor resembling solid chocolates you would want to eat. Fontana has a very strong corn syrup flavor, almost maple syrupy with the chocolate and Hersheys Special Dark, while a definite improvement over regular, didn't wow me either.Torani's ingredient list shows more dutch cocoa and it shows! I gave it 4 stars because its not perfect, but graded on a curve it is...Surprisingly I had avoided this brand because it is available everywhere and i thought too common to be able to match what i could buy at an actual coffee house, if that makes any sense... I am sure we won't buy fontana again.Next is to sample caramel sauces, something tells me fontana might not win there either.Note that this 64oz bottle (at least at current amazon prices) is a few dollars more than the 6-pack of smaller bottles, and less ounces, but we opted for this because of the ease of the pump to control measuring, etc. It uses the same pumps as Torani syrup bottles...
