A: It was designed and prototyped in New York and is currently being made in a small family run workshop in the Zhejiang Province (China).

**Q: This holster can hold a modelo special?**
A: If it’s a 12 oz bottle, then probably yes.

**Q: What does coated leather actually mean?**
A: Leather coated with polyurethane to make it waterproof and rigid. Looks like genuine leather but doesn’t feel like leather. This would be a good application for it.

This beer holster is pretty good. It holds beer bottles with a standard circumference. It would be nice if it was adjustable to accommodate bottles that are shorter and wider. It is well-made, though, and doesn't look likely to fall apart. My chief complaint is that I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my husband and when it was shipped to me, the shipping label was put directly on the product box, so my husband saw it when it was delivered.
