14K Yellow Gold Artistic Pierced Crucifix Cross Pendant Charm

Pros: Very pleased with the way the cross looked. It is not the most detailed peice (as far as the Jesus figure) but the artwork looks great. Item arrived very quickly. The weight fluctuates between 3.9 and 4 grams. Since Gold is around $48 a gram, I’d say the price is reasonable. I am a larger man and the way the cross looks is nice and tasteful. My chain is about 4-7 mmCons: It appeared to be pre-owned. There were two distinct white blemishes which I first thought were oxidation. Since “real gold” doesn’t tarnish I was really concerned. It also had a few cloth fibers stuck behind arm as if someone was polishing it. Through further investigation, I came to the conclusion that someone may have done a bite test and the jeweler may have tried to buff out the teeth mark. Consequently they may have left polishing compound behind. The blemishes would be easily overlooked by a normal person but I am very meticulous. I took a polishing cloth to it and It was removed with ease.I am happy with my purchase for now but I will have to have the gold authenticated since there was no certification slip. If everything checks out I will do business with Claddah gold again

I was really surprised when the crucifix arrived. I wasn't prepared for the size of it and I am the only one to blame. I will remove purchasing jewelry on line. You need to see it in hand.
