Do you need to use an additional thermal protectant when you flat iron?

I use this product just to get smoother curls and help control frizz. I don't use a flat iron. This product does leave a nice, soft finish to my hair.

Does this work for air-dried hair?

No, my hair stays curly if air dried with this product. Needs to be blow dried and flat ironed to be straight.

Does it leave hair smelling good after applying a straightener?

Has not a perfume...It is a very good product
