I was just getting these to be able to use mosquito repellent incense, not expecting anything attractive, but they’re ceramic and look good on the table while also containing the incense ashes. Very pleasantly surprised by their quality.

If you love the Murphy's mosquito incense then you gotta get these. I was using a regular incense holder that I drilled the hole a little bigger to fit them and it was not working great. These look nice, they are really well made ceramic with some nice varying glaze detail, and they fit and catch the incense ash perfectly.

These are for use with Murphy's citronella incense sticks. They work. But are terribly expensive in my opinion. I purchased 6 of them to use on a tropical trip. I saved the boxes in order to repack them and ship them home. They are a heavier ceramic, but, too expensive. Hope they last forever, but being ceramic - eh. I will dread having to pay to replace them. Maybe go to a pail and bucket of sand. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. BOTTOM LINE:  I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

The Murphy's incense have a super thick stick, so don't assume you can use a typical incense holder. I have used the incense stuck straight into the ground, but it is not the safest with kids running around. These holders are well made and durable. They can hold the incense up in decent winds and can be placed up high out of reach of little fingers. Highly recommend if getting the incense sticks!

These were much bigger than I had anticipated. They work great. My only issue is that there isn't a way to secure the incense better in the hole of the holder.
