Hidden spiritual vampirism perpetrated upon humans is portrayed as Chinese myth. This tale ends in a lie since the eternal essence of humans cannot actually be consumed by another "dark force". And that dark force only has "control" over us if we are tempted to hoard power as it has done to us.Once the dark forces (dragon energy), acting as masters to those who are being perfected (humans) in this stage arena are revealed, this game is actually over. This is as per pre-decided in agreement, before time "here" began. They are exposed only when we remember and know who we and they are. It is not even that they are evil and we are good. They are simply our teachers. The war ends when we realize this. We must open our eyes and see each other as all being equally precious due to the fact that we are extension of the light and essence of the identical Eternal Essence, ultimately. And each of us carries this very spark within our beings.We graduate once we learn not to take part in the imposition by the dragon upon our fellow beings in this reality, and more importantly, once we extract the wisdom of the teaching to us. That imposition is a demonstration of power that either has led to our victimization or worse, our embracing adoption and participation.Gratitude and respect for your teachings, as actors portraying and performing the part of "evil". With eyes opened, we can know the truth of who we are, drop our masks, embody into our fractal realities/consciousness the great wisdom which we will carry with us as we soon exit the stage. The learning has added to our light.The League of Gods as it appears in our reality is dissolving. We no longer need them if we can glean the purpose of their presence. Until and unless they accept that the game is over, they will attempt to continue their charade as our masters, as they have forgotten they too are acting a part. They too are subject to being parts of All That Is.We can learn from this movie, if we have eyes to see. But first we must see that the Dragon is not all powerful, it is an entity which is here to teach us, nothing more. It only has the power we cede to it, and even that is "only castles burning". This story is over, and the light won. It existed before the dragon, and it exists beyond the dragon.

It's ok. A little much on the CGI, good fight scenes though. Definitely a badly timed cliffhanger. You get introduced to the main character to start the journey at the end and there are no plans for a part 2 since it came out in 2016, this review is 4 years later. Imagine a pre-lude to Harry Potter if they introduced the baby that will save magic from an upcoming Voldemort and then a Harry Potter never came out.

Warning the movies story line does not end. I went and bought this movie since I like martial arts/fantasy stories. However, if I would have known that this was only part one (assuming on my part as it just leaves off in the middle of the attack sequence) I would not have purchased it or even starting watching it on a streaming rental. AGAIN YOU WILL BE LEFT IN A CLIFT HANGER ENDING. League of Gods came out in 2016. I tried google, imdb, wiki, and even you tube, to see about part 2. I could not get any hits on it just the synopsis for part one.In fairness to the League of Gods story...It started slow but the background story had to be shown, it became interesting when the hero finally showed (don't want to give away the plot), and then a good fight scene.... AND THEN IT JUST STOPS and end credits! Oh come on REALLY.........

This review will be one where I am not going to tell you what it is about, instead I will tell you that the performances are superb, the kung fu sequences are awesome as are all of the fight scenes. The costumes will blow you away and so will the scenery. This is a visually stunning production and well worth the watching. So then you may ask why I only went for 4 stars? The ending was not an ending at all. It seems to have stopped and left whatever it is until a next movie and for the life of me, I can't find that next movie.

… I like foreign movies, especially considering those of other peoples views on ancient beliefs. Very well made, lots of action and twists and turns. Most of it I didn’t see coming or thought it was going to take a different path. Not for everyone’s taste, but I found it quite interesting and entertaining. Unsure what someone else would feel about this movie, but I have no complaints renting it…

Thank goodness for cc. I would not have had a clue what they were talking about without it.What I didn’t like was, that huzzy, didn’t get what she had coming!The movie ended just when it was about to get cronk. Hopefully there is a League of gods(2).Happy Holidays

A very well put together Martial Arts, Action, and Scifi film. Awesome movie tons of great modern Martial Artists and great special effects keep you glued to the screen. Only thing is when is part 2 coming out? The movie ends with the biggest battle yet to come.

Bad movie, Jet Li was in there for less than a minute then puffff he is gone and so other so called BIG name, not clear story line only special effects and wasn’t that great anyway! Should take it off the play list.

Ich kann den Film an sich nicht bewerten, da mein Bluray-Player es nicht abspielen kann.Vermeiden sie lestiges zurückschicken und Anbieter, die ihnen die Versandkosten nicht erstatten wollen und kaufen sie es woanders oder gar nicht. (Schade, den Trailer des Films fand ich interessant)(2 der 3 Anbieter hier auf Amazon.de haben mir eine A Zone Bluray geschickt)

Es una película divertida en la que combina la acción y las artes marciales de una excelente manera. Sería de 5 estrellas si tuviera subtítulos en español, pero aún así es muy buena. Lo de los subtítulos estaba desde la descripción, así que fue mi decisión comprarla en éste formato. El servicio excelente.

This movie looks incredible but the story is beyond confusing and ridiculous not because of the characters but the story was very disappointing.
