I was a Tatami guy for 14 years. I bought my first all around gi about three years ago and it became my favorite Gi. A couple reasons it is my favorite; I am 6’2” and 245 lbs, the A4 fits like a glove and has a nice soft broken in feeling right out ofthe bag. Secondly the collar is layers of fabric and not the stiff EVA foam, I like that because it doesn’t force my head forward or get in the way when i roll. I’ve been training in the gi for almost 17 years now and for me comfort is everything. other than that the durability of the Gi is second to none, the fabric is a cotton poly blend so it doesn’t shrink like all cotton Gi’s and is also much moredurable. My other Gi’s at about three years the collarsstart to fray.
