Cast Iron Heart Shaped Cake Pan - 9 x 7.5 Inch

This pan is for mini heart sized items of your choice. There are 9 hearts. Please read the measurements before purchasing to avoid disappointment. I took photos as I wish there were more available before I purchased two for myself. I own a lot of cast iron and I'm familiar with its upkeep. I smooth lumps and sharp edges by hand and remove burrs by use of a drill, before placing it in the oven to remove the original seasoning during "oven cleanup". I then take the bare gray cast iron pan and start my own seasoning. I plan to use this pan to its max potential: mini muffins, cookies, cupcakes, biscuits, cornbread etc.

I saw this pan on 101cookbooks.com food blog and I fell in love with it. I searched the net and found it on Amazon. The price is just right. I ordered 2 of the heart shape pan for baking. Good quality. cookies browned evenly. I greased the pan before pouring in the dough. I washed the pan with hot water but no soap. Soap is not good for cast iron. It will last a long time with good care.

Cute. Super tiny. Each cavity is too small for a small egg. Will look good hanging on the wall as kitchen decor, otherwise, it is pretty useless. It shipped fast and it was well protected.

these are perfect, but unfortunately too small to do a whole batch of brownies....I'd order another but they seem to be out of stock. oh well :/

Love this, so many thing I can make in it. Came raw and needed to be seasoned which is really easy, I use organic virgin coconut. It's super heavy but cute and im glad I made the purchase despite all the other reviews!

After 4 firings in my kiln, one of the hearts cracked. Couldn’t believe it.

Well, I read the dimensions, but I didn’t realize how small and shallow the hearts would actually be. Like another reviewer wrote, this is akin to a mini muffin pan.

I love this pan, the surface is perfectly nonstick and although it is a little difficult to completely oil this pan it is so worth it. We've made cupcakes with this pan and they came out perfectly. Looks, performs and feels like a high quality product. I'd highly recommend it.
