Best black tea ever!
Best black tea you can get, especially for the price. No weird after taste, and doesn't get too bitter if you leave the teabags in.

My Favorite Tea
I'm a Brit living in the US and PG Tips is my tea brand of choice. I usually buy in bulk when I'm in the UK and bring about 500 tea bags back with me. When I run out, I buy from Amazon and even though I pay four times as much as I pay in the UK, they're still way cheaper than a plane ticket. Remember, tea is dried leaves, so you should ALWAYS add boiling water to your tea, whether in a cup or teapot. The importance of boiling water can't be stressed, it's the only thing that will open up and hydrate the leaves, giving you the best flavored tea. Let it sit for about 3-4 mins (depending on how strong you like it). I add milk to my tea, but I know a few people who drink it black with a little sugar, or add lemon. Paired with a couple of chocolate biscuits (cookies) you have the perfect mid morning or mid afternoon snack. Enjoy ;-)

NOT PYRAMID BAGS!
These are not PG tips pyramid bags. They are the flat square bags. Flavorless tea. I have been drinking PG Tips for 50 years. Switching to Yorkshire Gold. According to Google, PG Tips was bought out by Lipton. They changed the tea blend. They ruined this product.

Great Tea!
I recently ordered both PG Tips and Taylors Yorkshire Gold because I couldn't decide which one to try first. While I love both teas (please feel free to read my 5 * review of the Yorkshire Gold), each has subtle qualities that make them unique and worthwhile. I love PG Tips for its delicate, aromatic brew - so yummy and soothing! Its flavor is just a tad brighter and perkier than the Yorkshire Gold, so I tend to prefer the PG Tips for an evening brew when I need a late-day pick-me-up, compared to the more robust Yorkshire that I like for a morning brew. But that is strictly my own preference - you may prefer the opposite. Either way, the PG Tips is delicious and delectable, smooth and very flavorful. I even managed to convert my hubby - a lifelong, self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur - to tea with these brands! We haven't fired up the coffee maker in weeks. Anyway, you won't be disappointed. It's been well worth the slightly extra cost to treat ourselves to these two fine teas, especially compared to the domestic teas we had been buying.

Good, reliable tea, but the teabag shape has changed.
PG Tips have been and will always be my tea of choice — strong! However, these are not the traditional pyramid shape teabag as advertised. They are now the flat, square teabags same as all other teabags. That for me is enough to deduct a star!

No longer in “pyramid tip” form
This has been my favorite tea for a few years now. I ordered these knowing that the delivery time from the UK would be long. They are expensive but the taste was worth it!Well I’m sad to say it was my last order. Not only are they just teabags now but they’re not individual. I have to spend time very carefully tearing them apart. I found out the hard way that they may tear open during the process and I ended up with a cuppa loose leaf tea floating around. While waiting for them I needed a replacement so I ordered another brand of imported English tea. It was absolutely delicious and much more affordable. When I’m finished with this order, I’m switching over to the other brand.

My New Favorite Tea
Having grown up in Australia and then moving to the USA to live, I have long missed a good cup of (hot) tea. But no more! I found PG Tips here at Amazon a while ago and I have been buying them ever since. This is a strong Orange Pekoe tea (basic, medium-grade black tea), much stronger than anything I have found at retail in the US grocery stores. It *will* stain your pot or cups over time, but as many tea drinkers will tell you, this just makes for a better cup of tea. If this becomes unsightly, I take a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Cleaning Pads, 8-Count Boxes (Pack of 3) to the inside of the cup to remove the stain. According to the box, PG Tips is a British blend of Assam, Ceylon, and Kenyan teas. The pyramid shaped bag allows for more water flow and better steeping, which means more tea flavor from each bag. Make sure you boil your water to a rolling boil and steep for at least three minutes for maximum flavor (as with most black teas, longer steep times will result in a bitter taste because the release of tannic acid). I like to drink mine hot with a splash of milk, at all times of the day.Enjoy!
