After years of keeping crickets I've found this to be the best way to hydrate them without drowning them. I just keep a plastic spoon in the jar and refill as needed- they will desiccate depending on how dry the air is and the crickets will use more when it is hotter. The product does last a very long time though. Even a small container like this will last months with large crickets in summertime in my area. Compared to other products I have to buy for my various animals the price of this stuff is negligible.

I've been thinking about starting my own cricket colony for some time and had read some reviews that this cricket quencher worked well. It definitely does! I had lots of happy crickets. Just a thought though, you don't really need to buy this product to keep your crickets hydrated. If you are interested in saving a bit of money, just google how to keep your crickets watered.

Purchased this for my hissing cockroaches I had bought from Josh's Frog's. In all honesty, I've never seen my little friends eating it so I'm wondering if they aren't getting all their needed moisture from their diet. Other than that it's cheap, easy to use, safe, and when the gel dries out you can throw a little water in to the dish and rehydrate it. Would definitely recommend.

I thought I was getting a large bottle however I messed up and good thing. I would never pay 25 dollars for pre hydrated water crystals. Do yourseof a favor and just buy water crystals and soak them in water until they expand, for a fraction of the cost

Great product for keeping crickets hydrated. The crickets seem to like it, and my son's bearded dragon appreciates the nice, plump crickets.Shipping, however, needs some work. The lid had come off in shipment, and the cricket quencher spilled out into the box. Fortunately, I was able to scoop most of it back into the jar.

My crickets that I keep for my lizard love this which is why I bought it. It's a gel like material that is wet. It dries up fairly quick in dryer months so you have to replace it every couple days. I'd buy it again.

It worked like I assumed it would. It quenched my crickets. There honestly isn't much to say except that the price was pretty reasonable.

We own an exotic or non- traditional veterinary service and thusly see many reptiles. One of many insects that can be fed to reptiles are crickets and we have found this to be one of the best sources of water to keep them alive while they gut load before feeding.

Good product .. decent price

This is the first time I bought this brand as all others were sold out .I didn't like this one as much as others I have purchased I found it dried out faster and is a little on the pricey side , but it served the purpose when my regular brand was not in stock.
