Works very well. Only issue is the lens fogs up, but that is due to my not having an external air supply. Has a port in the back to supply air. I didn't use it because I didn't have an air supply without possible oil contamination.

This hood worked great for small sand blasting projects. Very little fogging after 1/2 hour of continuous use. Definitely keeps the sand off of your head and face.

Didn't expect a lot for the price. The canvas is heavy and durable. Window has adequatlely wide view. But the hood size is so small that my face is right up against the glass, causing it to quickly fog. Can't wear it with glasses; first, it's very difficult to get glasses theough the narrow elastic band at the neck; then if you manage that your glasses rub against the face shield glass causing the lenses to get scratched up. The size is more appropriate for a child.Construction was mostly ok, however It had one seam at the back below the air fitting that was improperly sewn so that the air channel was not closed completely. Since I had a powered, filtered air supply I used the partly open seam to stuff in the large hose from my air supply. So that worked out. Even with a steady supply of air the tight fit blocks the air channel above your head, preventing the full flow from reaching the glass and it still tends to fog.The glass pitted quickly after a few hours of use, so I'm sure it will need replacing soon.

the price was right. i wont use it a lot. what do i put on the hose coming out the back?

Done a few hours in this mask and it has been working good. keeps sand out and protects from debris

For the price, I think this is a great hood. Why 2 stars? Within 2 minutes of use, I took the hood off to clean the glass shield...and I dropped it. Crash, into 1000 pieces. I'm not blaming the manufacturer for my clumsiness. Rather I'm upset there is no way to purchase a replacement shield.

The filter goes down to my neck and not to my mouth, however, it does still look cool

almost never figured out how to get the thing on with my glasses on and when I did the glass shield and my glasses fogged up immediately and I could not see anything at all ... quality of product seems ok but is not useful for me
