The Noble Collection Harry Potter Ravenclaw Pen

First off this is a gorgeous pen with beautiful sculpted details similar to a column or railing. Interestingly the Ravenclaw pen has the most detail and variety of details compared to the other houses. The Ravenclaw pen has spindle like designs and ermine patterns from heraldry at the handle. The entire pen is painted in a brilliant blue hue. Great for any collector and good weight to it. This pen can be refilled and is made of metal so it should be very durable and a good value.

Great craftsmanship would purchase again

So funny story - I bought this pen instead of the Gryffindor pen because it was prettier. Brought it to work and my office mate asked why I bought the Ravenclaw so I told her why. She forwards me one of those "Which house do you belong in" quizzes and guess what my results were? Yup. Ravenclaw. We had a good chuckle. Back to the pen review: The pen is pretty hefty and took some time getting used to the weight. It is top heavy. It's really very pretty, solidly made and actually writes really nice for a roller ball - I prefer a fine tip but this one works/writes just as nice as my other uppity pens (I think the specs state it's a medium tip). I'm thinking about buying another just to keep as a weapon in my purse.... oh, and to take notes if needed. :-)

This pen is everything. It was a secret Santa gift along with some Harry Potter wands pens.

He loved that he can carry it to work unlike the fountain pins he has gotten in the past!

so this is a really fun and pretty pen! But I feel like it’s definitely more of a desk decor type pen than a functional one. It’s really quite heavy (which of course means it feels like high quality but~) which makes it uncomfortable to write with for any length of time greater than a sentence or two. I tried journaling with it and after one page my wrist was already protesting. It’s also a bit awkward to hold, likely also due to the weight. I was constantly feeling like I needed to reposition my hold/adjust my grip. The pen is not retractable, so it’s just always open, which was kind of weird & unexpected. I also don’t think it is the nicest, most satisfying write. I expected higher quality ink tbh. It writes like your everyday cheap ballpoint pen. Basic BICs write nicer, in my opinion. If it wrote nicer I may be more inclined to fight through the uncomfortability in my wrist :( So, I do love it visual-wise, but functionality-wise it fell short. I’ll end up collecting the set as a desk display thing, but I wouldn’t advise it if you’re wanting it as your everyday pen. Would be a cool purse pen though, just to whip out and look fancy for signing documents lol.

Beautiful, it's very heavy and looks really good, better than i expected, the blue and metal color are really Nice, a very quality pen.

Magnifique stylo qui sera pour moi purement décoratif car assez lourd pour être confortable lors d'une écriture prolongé. Toutefois pour une signature ou un petit mot bien sûr ça ne pose pas de problème car il fonctionne très bien et glisse facilement sur le papier.

Serdaigle étant ma maison favorite je suis contente d'avoir fait l'acquisition de ce stylo ! Par ailleurs , bien qu'il soit parfait en tout point , et livré dans une boîte qui le protège bien , je regrette l'absence de rétractation ! En effet impossible de rentrer la mine du stylo bille ! Il faudra donc faire encore plus attention à ce joli petit joyaux :)
