I like the size of these cubes. They are larger than the standard cubes, which means I can put a lot more in them. They were easy to put together, easily fit inside of my small bedroom closet, and should prove very functional.I purchased these for the size and color, and I was a little hopeful that they would be more of a sparkly silver, but it is a industrial silver. I was a little disappointed that the metal is wobbly. It gets stronger when reinforced with other sides connected, but I'm not sure if they will last the 10+ years if I am putting heaving items in them. But, they are still very good for the price and ease of putting together.If I could recommend anything different for this product, it would be nice if the connectors matched the wire frames. Black is generally a nice color, but it doesn't really work with the silver wire shelves; it really stands out like an eye sore. Also, they are clunky and stick out at the edges. I would prefer a different design and is more sleek.

I own 3 of these types of units which were bought probably 15-20 years ago. They are thicker and have held up amazingly well. I needed a few new sets for closets for kids' stuff. Based on the reviews, I was expecting a very lightweight product, but bought it anyway thinking that if it doesn't work out, I'll use it for something else. I assembled it today with the help of the kids. Took 20 minutes. I think people are not doing it right if they are complaining about how it doesn't hold much, or can'tbe moved after assembly. It was incredibly sturdy and easy to move once fully assembled. It was so satisfying to hear the click as I assembled all of the pieces. I did not use zip ties (and never did in the past). My only disappointment was that I bought it at $30, and now the price has gone up so I'm kicking myself for not buying the additional ones at the same time. Great product. Will hold up well. You need to hear three sets of clicks to know that you've put it in the right place. Once you have, you will find it very difficult to separate. Good luck!

I like that I can easily disassemble it when we move and keep the clothes in the bin. Great to utilize all your space in the closet and laundry room.

This set did not come with the 25 connector pieces; the bag was broken open and only contained 18. Half of those 18 connectors don't actually fit the grids anyway.. I will have to order some more snug ones. There really wasn't any way for me to build any kind of structure with this the way it came. It also might be important to note that the grids aren't perfect squares, so you have to make sure you turn them all the same direction to get them To fit together, if you were to get enough properly fitting connectors to do so.

This product worked for what I needed it for. I took other reviewers advice on the product not being super sturdy. I also haven't put anything heavy on top. I also used zip ties to reinforce and keep the pieces together. I like that you can set this up in many different ways.The shelf I was putting it on wasn't quite deep enough for all of the bottom 'links' to sit flat so I didn't even put the bottom tray or links on. This is where the zip ties were especially useful. It wasn't as sturdy this way but the zip ties helped and it also gave me extra shelves to make an extra cube with it.All in all it is a great product for organizing as long as you don't need it for heavy stuff. I only gave it 4 stars because I'm sure it could be improved on.

I bought this to display my items at a convention. It is good and pretty sturdy, but the plastic nibs can be really a hassle. I recommend zipties if you don't like the connectors. Some of them are difficult to fit in place, other times you're not really sure if they're all the way in!Also, there are two different types of cube wires included - 14count of 5x5, and 9count of 8x8, with 24 connectors. If you're looking to make something huge, you probably need to buy two because you'll likely run out of connectors. The 8x8 and 5x5 have different sizes, so if you run out of one and have to use the other, they won't connect very well and your cubes will be wonky.

We already had a set of these in my son's room but of course kid's rooms can never have enough storage. I ordered another kit, thinking I could vary it's configuration to fit some of his larger trucks. It didn't work perfectly with the different configuration, but it did work well enough. I am actually quite happy with it considering I didn't put it together as intended. I also like that it's easy to disassemble for moving or for a different configuration. (I do use zip ties to hold it all together though. The corner brackets are great to initially get it together, but they're not 100% secure, especially if you reassemble it many times I imagine. The zip ties on each corner gives me peace of mind that all our stuff won't just end up on the floor.) This has become my favorite light weight, inexpensive storage solution.

the shelf panels came industrial bound , each kind large square opening for side and back, smaller square openings for actual shelf your item is on, the black plastic holders work with the panels front back and bottom, you only have to do one cube and its a snap to connect all the others in any configuration will fit your space need, i am the type to read the instructions last, and i did not even need them, and for a 60 year old fart this was easy to snap together, my hint put it in a big empty space spin the cubes around while you are attaching the black tinker toy looking connectors, very happy with the outcome, i am using mine for books and art supplies and it holds a lot of weight for me..

I really like this sturdy shelving system. It was easy to put together, too. However, it came with a certain number of "connectors", which means that you can only put the shelving together in such ways as the number of connectors will allow. I wanted to make a different configuration than the one shown on the website, which would have been possible if I had had more connectors. I emailed the manufacturers and they do not sell these small, essential pieces separately. However, if you want a relatively conventional shape, I highly recommend this shelving system.

We used two packages of this item to build an outside enclosure for our cats so they can't get free reign of the yard. They worked very well for that.These are not the gauge of wire used in some of the more expensive storage cubes, but is ok light storage.

Bought it for my wife's mother. Awkward shaped second closet and the 6 cubes fit perfectly for stacking T-shirts and sweaters. As an extra precaution, I attached zip ties to ensure safety & stability. An extra really as it is quite stable.

It was fairly easy to out together if you have patience. However, if you wish to have a different configuration that the 3 x 2, then you will probably not have enough of the connecting knobs for the job.

This is great to make a guinea Pig cage. I made a 2x3 cage with a floor + coroplast and my 2 pigs love it. Get some Zip ties to keep everything together and its super easy to move around as well.
