ADAM LEVINE® by Adam Levine Perfume for Women (EAU DE PARFUM SPRAY 3.4 OZ)

I truly can’t believe the quality and performance of this beautiful perfume. It is much better than many scents that are 10 times the cost for a watered down eau de toilette instead of perfume like this is. I am very particular about a scent’s longevity, and this one is quite surprising - I get 12+ hours on well moisturized skin. I use an unscented product for very dry skin before applying scents, which really extends the longevity of perfumes for me. I love powdery amber woody scents, which this is. It’s soft, sweet, warm, deep, and just gorgeous. I have learned that perfume needs to rest after shipping - it makes a huge difference in how it smells and performs if you will put it in a closet for a few weeks when you first receive it and just let it sit. When I open a bottle of this one, I order the next one. It is easily my favorite everyday scent if applied lightly, totally appropriate for the office, church, and anything daytime. More sprays amps it up to a sexy date/evening level. It stays on clothes forever. I often apply this to sleep in. Did I say I love it? I do.

Oh my gosh. What an AMAZING $13 fragrance buy. This smells SO much classier than the price tag, or celebrity "creator," implies. Sandalwood-lover's dream right here. Official notes are as follows: Top notes are saffron, citruses, marigold and spices Middle notes are Indian jasmine, Australian sandalwood and rose petals Base notes are benzoin and vanilla. I'm not a talented "nose" when it comes to fragrances. I can't detect really any of the notes mentioned other than sandalwood upon first spray. Nor did I realize I like sandalwood this much. When I sniff my arm, I can detect florals (rose and jasmine). I can't wait for the drydown! The opening is lovely and elegant. I could see how many people think this fragrance screams older woman, but I don't think so at all. I'm in my mid-30s and am LOVING this. If you like warm, cozy fragrances with a touch of elegance and mystique, you'll like this. I haven't directly smelled benzoin before, but I've read this is a component that turns many people off. Its possible this will "turn" on me once it settles on the skin, but I'll update my review if that's the case. I'd say this is a better fall/winter/cooler temp/evening fragrance. Will that stop me from wearing it in the late hot KY summer? Nope! Too long, didn't read: Recommended if you like more sultry, woodsy/warm scents. Fabulous value for the price!

This is a beautiful sandalwood amber type fragrance. I’ve read a lot of reviews that said this is a very strong long lasting fragrance but I’m not experiencing that. It seems to be light to moderate in strength, projection and the longevity is actually a little less than average on my skin perhaps they’ve changed the formula? . It turned into a skin scent after about two hours. Still, I think it’s a beautiful scent and I would definitely recommend it. You can find this for less in stores though. Usually $10. I’ve had this perfume a few months now and although I do like it I don’t reach for it often. I think it smells a bit unisex.

Wow, what to say! If you love sandalwood then you will love this!!! It opens with a warm citrusy spice and mellows out to a woodsy vanilla sandalwood benzoin. Yet isn’t stuffy like other woody scents can be. And it’s also intermingled with saffron, marigolds, rose petals and jasmine that I can’t smell individually but mingled together give this an undercurrent of creamy florals as it drys down. I would say this is a sophisticated scent, simple yet sophisticated. Simple in that it starts, ends and lingers as a warm creamy sandalwood where as some perfumes start off super sweet then become fruity and finally settle into a caramelly warm scent. This fragrance stays true to itself from start to finish. It lasts all day. I get whiffs of it through out my day and it makes me smile. The bottle and packaging are of simple design. I actually really like the box. The bottle is clear and tall to show off the delicious amber colored liquid inside. It’s heavy in the hand. The lid stays on snuggly. I like to layer fragrances. This layers well with any vanilla fragrance or body spray, also with lemon. I have a lemon meringue body spray that I layer under this and it smells absolutely DIVINE!!! If you enjoy warm woodsy amber scents then go ahead and get it!! Update! I love it so much I bought 2 more as back up lol

I love this perfume. I really do. I bought some at a department store and couldn't get enough of it. I decided to look on Amazon when my bottle was about half full to see if I could get a better deal because I really wanted more of it. The price was great (should have been a red flag) so I went ahead and bought it. This perfume is not the same scent. Not at all. It smells like alcohol. And it makes my nose itch. And it has a weird scent that I can't place that I usually associate with perfumes that my dear departed grandmother used to wear, like Este Lauder's youth dew. Not pleasant to me. Do yourself a favor if you are interested in this product and go buy it from a reputable department store to make sure you are getting a quality product. No offense to Amazon, i love Amazon, but this one is an epic fail.

Love the smell but the bottle needs work we got the calone but it was missing the spray top a little disappointed but will still buy the calone

I love this fragrance - to me it smells like a combination of delightfully-aged scotch and a lush aromatic spiced wood bowl filled with citrus-flavored marigolds. A friend gave me a sample & and after wearing the sample for a day, I ordered it. So glad I did. I generally prefer more herbal/green scents, but this does it for me: fresh, not cloying, rich and warm without being over-powering. Until I received my bottle & decided to read more about it, I had no idea who Adam Levine was (Maroon 5) or that this was a celebrity fragrance. (I think I assumed Adam Levine was The Nose, or some designer I'd never heard of.) That speaks volumes, because with the exception of Sarah Jessica Parker's line and a few others, my reaction to the Celebrity Craze has been negative: they mostly seem overly-sweet and candy-assed. Ew. I'm not someone who thinks fragrance has gender - I'm female, but I couldn't care less if a perfume is intended for females or males. I've read some reviews of this fragrance that complain that it's too "manly", and while I'm not altogether convinced that phrase has much meaning, this certainly doesn't smell like a men's club, or Old Spice, or leather, or whatever you may associate with a men's cologne. It's just a well-balanced rich hit of lush, earthy freshness. Unique. I hope it never gets pulled out of production (as have so many other smells I've loved) because I intend to keep this in my regular winter scent rotation.

This fragrance presents a great way to wear a vanilla scent all year long. When you want to smell seductive but clean this perfume delivers that perfectly! The saffron, spices, Indian Jasmine, marigold, sandalwood, rose, and vanilla pair in a very well balanced accord that doesn't yield too "musky" as one might think would happen with so many florals at play. Adam Levine For Her is a more warm than strong scent which I love! It's a really good scent for any occasion and one that I feel you'd find yourself wanting to wear every day. The first day that I wore it I reapplied it throughout the day and kept falling in love over and over again. Given that the longevity of this fragrance isn't stellar it's okay for you to reapply it without fear of smelling too strong / overpowering. I'm definitely going to snag another bottle!!!
