Metaltex "Professional" Paring Knife, Silver, 18 cm

As someone who had purchased knives on my own for the first time, I was confused as to which size was the right one. This one's blade is about the length of an average index finger, which makes it ideal for cutting fruits etc without cutting board. I pared mine with a bigger size (search carving knives) However, if it is the only knife you plan to buy (as a student for instance), I would suggest ordering the bigger one as you can use that to dice vegetables etc on the cutting board. The finish itself is smooth, it is light weighted too, and does not hurt your hands when you hold it from the handle (the grip is firm).

This is very good knife with this price. Quality is excellent. Lightweight and good for small cutting not heavy duty which suits me. The blade is much more safe as it doesn't hurt because of it's design. Great service from purchase to delivery. Yes well done highly recommended 👏

Needed to replace old oneWe're happy with it

I was looking for a very small paring / vegetable preparing knife to replace my much used and loved tiny knife which has vanished. This is very good but I would have liked it just a bit tinier to fit my small hands as my old one was really small and I had got used to working that way, with a tiny knife. This works well, just a tad smaller would be perfect. Having said that it was the smallest I could find, online and in the shops so overall I'm pleased and it cuts very well.
