The brackets are good quality, but please don’t use the included hardware! The whole point of using this type of brackets is that you can attach them to studs directly. I used much longer screws, and that worked well.Keep in mind these are not really weight bearing. You will need brackets with a cross member for that. But these work well if you’re constrained for space or are going for a more streamlined look.For comparison, I also have a similar set of brackets that I had custom made by someone on eBay. They are much wider, twice as thick, and can handle much more weight.If you liked this review, please consider labeling it as such.

I have to go along with other reviewers that praised the quality of the brackets themselves, but spoke poorly of the hardware. I had the same experience. I broke off the heads of two screws before seeing those reviews. I would add, though, that those reviews were written in 2019. What's up with this seller, who should have been aware of this problem that's been there a long time? Why are people still receiving crummy screws that snap so easily?

I don't care how strong your Tim Taylor vibe is, it's not going to be disappointed by these. I don't know what the weight rating is, but if you have something that can be hoisted to sit on a shelf held by these, the screws will fail before these do. The 1" oak boards will splinter before these give out. Your floor will buckle before these quit.If you're looking for solid brackets without compromise, you've found your solution.

The brackets are solid and nice but they sent the wrong screws to attach the shelf to the bracket. Ordered twice and both packages came with 1" screws that are supposed to attach the bracket to the shelf which is way too long unless your using 1 1/4" thick shelves which is an unusual thickness for a shelf. The screws and anchors that attach the bracket to the wall were just fine. Other than that I like these brackets, just be prepared to buy your own screws.

Not the advertised size. Super disappointed as these seem to be extremely sturdy and good quality. They are advertised as 4 inches and in the product description it says they are 4" long on one side and 3" long on the other side. However they are 5" and 3". They won't work for our shelf's.

Had a lot of garage projects, these fit the hill to hang my workbenches. Installed perfectly with cement screws. Built with quality material, fell thick and string. My benches done waits much so I can’t tell you how much their max weight capacity is but they worked for me.

The included screws are absolute garbage; I stripped them every time I tried to use one, and had issues driving them into a stud. I ended up using my own #8 wood screws, which immediately made the install process easier. This also applies to the smaller screws used to secure the shelves to the bracket; don't even bother trying to use them, get something better.So far the brackets have been sturdy enough to hold up 36" 2x8s with two brackets each. I did encounter the same issue as other reviewers, where the brackets are not always a perfect 90 degrees, which means your shelves are not going to be perfectly level front-to-back. They ended up level enough for my purposes though.

These brackets are solid and easy to install if you have even a bit of handyman abilities. I do agree with other reviewers that the included hardware is garbage. I used 3” #10 screws to secure to the studs and 3/4” to secure to my oak shelves. I really didn’t want to do the rustic gas pipe shelves that everyone does for their whiskey collection. These brackets go well with the minimalist clean line look I was going for. They hold more weight than my whiskey collection will ever put on them. Highly recommended.
