I always take an extra 1,000 mg of Milk Thistle along with my daily dose of NOW Liver Detoxifier & Regenerator because the dosage in Now is only 300 mg and is far below the daily requirement. You can take up to 3,000 mg of Milk Thistle a day safely. I like the NOW Liver Detoxifier & Regenerator because it has a variety of other liver health herbs combined into one daily dose.Matthew **Q: How long do you take this before you see results?** A: It was about 6 months in between when I started taking it and my next blood test. I had stopped drinking for two years and my liver enzymes were still high, so I started taking this and that Doctors Best Alpha Lipoic Acid and 6 months later my liver was in the normal range and I have continued this for a couple years now and it's all good.
