ParaNorman [Blu-ray]

If you like this movie, you NEED it on 4k!! This is another one where streaming can’t touch the physical disk. This is also a movie that is crazy better watched with a surround sound system. There’s so much more to be heard.

The new 4K steelbooks have amazing art and the new disc is absolutely stunning. 4K stop motion is something else folks. The film is up there with Coraline and the rest with a decent story and lovely visuals. The transfers for all the Laika stuff are great. Remarkable even. I still have love for the old 3D transfer as well, but the detail here is on another level.

Super awesome gift idea

The Sixth Sense, but adding zombies. Norman reminds me of DJ from Monster House, who is too cowardly to stand up for himself. The movie has great atmosphere, with creative visuals and also has creativity with the zombies. What bugs me is that all the ghosts go away after Mr. Prenderghast talks to Norman in the bathroom. Perhaps they could've offered insight. Honestly, I feel the conflict between Norman and his dad could have been solved earlier if Norman had talked to his dad about something only his dad and grandma would know.ParaNorman is just a good family friendly horror movie.

I was a bit late to the party for viewing this. But after hearing rage reviews from others, as well as seeing the decent price for the 4K steel book, as a collector of physical media, it was just a given to purchase it. While this doesn't hit the epic magnitude of Coraline, another great stop motion animation from Laika studios, I loved it regardless in its own right.

This movie is great for kids and adults who care about kids. It’s easily a Top-10 movie in the family film category of all time. It has suspense, well-written story, it addresses bully problems, parent and child, fear and courage, death and transcendence, all in a sweet and artistic package. I can watch this film multiple times. Highly recommended.

I rented this for myself and my husband, (56 years young) we have no kids. It was a great funny show which I would recommend to kids or adults who like to have a laugh. I love the fact that is also helps kids to understand some of us are different but we are still good.

The image and sound are impecable, and it is dubbed in different languages. It is a remarkable work of art, since the stars. But the box says there is a leaflet inside, with an UltraViolet code. Well, there was none inside so I returned it. Amazon sent me a new one and I was quite happy, thinking the last one was a faulty one. When I opened it there were no leaflet nor code inside either, so I suppose it is a problem with all them. It is a pity, because it misleads you. Afterwards I saw in the other commentaries that others have also complained about that.

Love this film. Yes, I'm an adult, yes I like a good animation and yes, I'm a massive fan of ghosts, ghoulies and long leggity beasties and things that go bump in the night. Brilliant bit of entertainment for the whole family.

Arrived in great condition, on time, and works as expected. Result!

Watched this with my kids. Was ok to watch and quite amusing

Both me and my daughter loved this movie. It is very funny with a great story line. Could be a little scary for young children but the comedy element evens it out. Very similar to Coraline, I think it was made by the same creaters. Perfect for Halloween. Be aware this is a Region 1 copy that can only be played on Multi region players but Region 2 copies are now available.
