Mizuno 340466 Bamboo Classic MZB 62 Baseball Bat

I got this for my 15 year old. He’s made the jump from metal to wood bars. I was curious about a pressed bamboo bat, which is legal for school and travel ball, and it’s great! Makes a great sound knocking the crap out of a ball. It’s the same size and weight as his actual wood mizuno bat. I don’t know exit velocity off it but it hits very similarly to the wood bad.You will definitely have to order grip tape for it

Bought this bat after my second game wooden bat 40+ league, where I broke my nice Victus bat. This was meant to just be a cheap replacement, but I ended up using it the remainder of the season. I have never swung bamboo before, and I was pleasantly surprised. As a lefty who typically likes to hit for power, this bat allowed me to do well against some slower velocity pitching than I was used to and still hit hard line drives to the right side of the field. I would still definitely prefer a nice maple bat for something to hit a long ball, but for the durability and the swing comfort, you can’t beat a bat in this price range. Definitely recommend for a BP/cage bat, or for someone who likes to just make solid contact with a cheaper price bat that won’t ring your hands up.

This is a good batting practice bar. It can take a beating and has a denser feel that give it a little pop in the cage

It has the bounce once the bat connects to the ball, very good bat but I believe it’s illegal to use in games here in the US. Great for practice though.

The bat broke on my first at bat. Only about a 70 mph ball. Hopefully, this was a defective bat. I requested a replacement and it shipped the next morning. Great service from Amazon! Looking forward to trying it out again. Staying optimistic.

I bought the 32”, 30oz and loved it from the first swing. The weight is perfect and the ball has nice pop off the barrel. I don’t know what everybody is complaining about regarding the stickers. If you’re patient in taking them off then you won’t have a problem. If you rip it off like a Band-Aid then you’ll probably have a bunch of residue left on the bat. Bat was beautiful. Unfortunately broke after about a month of use. Too late to return to Amazon. Had a 90 day warranty. Mizuno was willing to replace the item, but had to pay to ship the broken bat back. Bummer to have to pay to get a defective product replaced.

This bat has been great nice pop off the barrel and is balanced well with a nice weight when swinging. Stickers were easy to remove just have to use a little patience. Great Bat overall

Really comfortable balanced swing weight. Sounds good and feels good with solid contact. Been told bamboo doesn't have the greatest pop but then again I don't crush balls 350ft anymore. But it feels good in the hands.

Hard to give a full review as we only used the bat once so far. I’ll report back later but the stickers is something that puzzles me. Why would the company the prepares these bat use stickers that don’t peel off ? I used Goo Gone and that wasn’t easy either. My suspicion is that Mizuno has no clue about this as the product is lowest on their visibility. The finish on the bat is fantastic and not your usual paint job.
