ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular 60 inch (152cm) Stainless Steel Knitting Needle Size US 5 (3.75mm) 7060-5

I am very impressed with the high quality of these needles. I've purchased the cheap bamboo bundle of needles in the past and they do not work well (snag yarn, break easily, ugh so frustrating). I decided to splurge on these needles because I needed one that was extra long, and I wanted it quickly. When I received the needles, I was very impressed with how sleek they are and how strong the attachment to the cable is. The cable appears to be a stranded wire cable inside of a flexible plastic sheathe. It is extremely strong and super flexible. The stitches slide easily on and off the needle where the cables attach. There is no binding, no snagging of threads, just clean smooth on and off. These are absolutely the best needles I have ever used. I will definitely purchase this brand again. They are a little bit more expensive than others, but definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend these needles.

After snapping my plastic pair of circular knitting needles, I wanted something sturdy and reliable. These are solid metal, the seam where the needle connects to the wire is smooth and doesn't catch the yarn, and the size is great for a large blanket. I'm convinced, I'll spend a little extra and get only these from now on.

ChiaoGoo is the only brand of needle I know of that has 60-inch circular needles. These are perfect for those large projects like bottom up triangular shawls, large circular shawls, afghans, and the bigger baby blankets, and they're easily long enough that you can do big things like sweater sleeves in "Magic Loop" technique on these needles. The connector cable for the ChiaoGoo circular needles has no "memory" -- it does not "remember" being coiled up and straightens out flat and smooth -- that feature in itself makes these needles superior. The cable is very pliable as well. These are stainless steel needles, and I absolutely love the long taper on the points. A project I was doing called for a size of needle that I did not yet have in the ChiaoGoo, and I had to use a Boye set I had. I noticed the difference in the points right off. The shorter taper and larger points on the Boye set just nearly drove me nuts. The smooth long taper and finer point on the ChiaoGoo needles slips easily into the stitch with plenty of room to do things like knit three, four and even five stitches together or do sssk's, or what have you. The cables are attached to the points in such a way that the needle has a smooth little tapering flange out onto the cable that lets the yarn slide easily from cable to needle. These are the most "un-snaggy" needles I've ever used. I am in the process of replacing all my circular knitting needles with ChiaoGoos.

These are exactly what I wanted, especially for the price. I like the weight and size of the product, they will work well for my blankets & things!

The description/title says 60 inch (152cm) but what I received was 24 inch (60cm). I assume it's a warehouse mixup, some box packing guy who saw "60" and didn't realize, but Amazon makes returns cost ineffective so I'm probably going to end up keeping it and just going out in person to get what I actually need for the sweater I'm making. I would recommend buying your needles locally if you can, and not on Amazon.~~ I went to the ChiaoGoo website to see where else I could buy the right size and discovered that the sticker they put on the package was the issue. The sticker says 7060-6, which is the order number for the 60 inch cable, but it's stuck on a needle whose order number should be 7024-6. Something else I learned on their website, I don't have any local store here in Oregon. I'll have to try and rebuy here and just hope it goes better..~~That said, the quality of the ChiaoGoo needles is spectacular. The join of the needle to the cable is smooth, and the cables themselves are pliable and lovely to work with. The product quality is most of why this didn't get far fewer stars from the mixup.

I really like ChiaGoo needles. They're my favorite for shawls. They're affordable and excellent quality. The tips are nice and pointy but not too sharp, the joins are smooth and snag free. The cable is flexible and smooth. I love that the needle size is engraved on the needle itself, although it's a little hard to see on the smaller size needles.

ChiaoGoo is one of my favorite brands of circular knitting needles. The tip to cable joins are smooth, and I have never had a break or a kink. I started a project and realized I didn’t have a 60” (150 cm) length. My order came in two days so I could complete the afghan.
