How to Pass the CSA Exam: for GP Trainees and MRCGP CSA Candidates (How to Perform)

Good but it's not enough to pass the MRCGP CSA, you need to attend a comprehensive training course..

Good resource, helped for CSA, the second DVD is ok, the cases seem a bot easy but the feed back given is helpful. Should be more priced at £50, if you can get one cheaper I would.

I bought this thinking it would be very useful, but wasn't, it is very over priced, I did not learn anything new, in fact the second DVD is a waste of time - with the GP trainees giving advice. I can ask my own colleagues if I wanted advice! Also the scenarios were not very challenging. The book is ok, but again not particularly useful, no current guidelines ect. This DVD should be max £20 and no more, total rip off! Just use Pennine website and get in a group and practice you don't need to buy into the hype of overpriced CSA material!

The book is good but the 2 nd DVD about tips on the exam and prep are a waste, the DVD could be utilised to to speak to RCGP examiners to highlight why they fail IMGs deliberately, This is a very subjective exam , you can pass with out knowing any medicine , with some inter personal skills, and fail by knowing all your medicine and perhaps did not speak like a englishman, i agree this is a VERY RACIST EXAM nas should be discontinued immediately, this book is another attempt to picture this exam as a normal strait forward exam which is not i am afraid.
