MAYTEX4300315 Pixel Ultra Soft Stretch Wing Back Arm Furniture Cover 1 Piece Steel Blue Chair Slipcover

Covered the 1980's teal - cost effective update
These covers stretch and stretch and stretch some more. The key to making these covers look good is to keep stretching and stretching and stretch some more. And a whole box of T-pins. The chair on the left is the cover put on, tucked in, then the hubs sat on it. It came untucked easily and looks super sloppy. The chair on the right, I stretched and pinned. I think there were about 50 T-pins in the box. Now that it is pinned, it stays tucked in really well even with daily sittings. The teal does not show through at all, and the fabric is not ripping where the pins went in.(The covers are exactly the same...the lighting makes them appear to be different colors.)

Great slipcovers!
This is my second order of a Maytex wing back chair slip cover. I've used them on two very different sized and shaped chairs, and the covers fit wonderfully. They do not slip around on my chairs, though I suspect the chair upholstery would be a determinant on that. You'll absolutely have to work with the cover and do some tucking and arranging, BUT with some patience (it took me about 15 minutes with each chair) these covers wound up looking nearly 100% like they look in the display pictures. I also used upholstery pins - the corkscrew shaped ones in unseen places and small safety pins around the legs to refine the fit. Very easy stuff! I've had no issues with the fabric being too thin or patterns showing through, but I chose darker colors. The colors are spot on to the listing with both that I ordered. All in all, I'd definitely purchase these slipcovers again without hesitation.

Great slipcovers for the price - Use for smaller wing back chairs
These are great slipcovers for the price. I fluffed in the dryer and put on my chair in about 3-5 minutes. I read a lot of reviews on several slipcovers, from less expensive to higher-priced known brands. Some had comments like "t-shirt material"...these are medium weight and appear to be durable. Some of the higher-priced ones had a lot of negative reviews, so I decided to try these first due to the price. I'm very happy with my purchase. The "olive" is really more gray (see pic), which I had read from one post so that is what I wanted. They fit great on my older and smaller wing chairs (seat cushion 27" at largest point), but I use caution if yours is larger. They may stretch to fit but the seams will be off. My only complaint is that you have to use caution to tear off the position tags, such as "seat cover front" (see pic). The first one I pulled quickly and was left with small white pieces on the arm, which I had to tweeze out (took longer than installing the cover). However, I then used caution removing the others with no problem.

Good product!
LOVE it!!! When you open the package up there are some papers that are sewn onto the seat and it says where the top is where the arms are where the front is and where to tuck under the seat cushion very helpful! And easy to remove. I took a picture of the chair when I only tucked it in and I have not used any pins on it yet. I am very pleased with it! I will be pinning it just so it's tight all around but it is great and looks nice!

Serves it's purpose, but don't expect clean lines
The color and material are both nice, but they fit funny. Certainly not as smooth as the advertisement shows.

Not impressed
This thing is flimsy, and it traps pet hair. I can't use my small handheld vacuum on it because the fabric gets sucked up into it. When I try to use a lint brush, the fabric stretches and pulls out of shape like loose skin. Not only does the pet hair stay stuck in the fabric, but then I have to re-tuck the cover into place. I have no intention of removing it to machine wash it, because it was very time-consuming and difficult to put on the first time, and I don't want to go through that again. It doesn't even stay in place when someone sits on the chair then gets up. The only thing I can say in this slipcover's favor is that when I finally finished putting it on and adjusting it the first time, it looked better than the ratty old upholstery I was trying to cover. Maybe it will work for you, if you don't have pets, or children, or anyone who likes to sit on chairs in your home.

I actually like this one better as the fabric is much thinner ...
I just received my new slipcovers in the mail. I ordered two to cover two wingback chairs in need of recovering. I read positive reviews as well as negative reviews of this product and took a chance. This is exactly what it is supposed to be. A TEMPORARY fix to an upholstery problem. If you are looking for a slipcover to be a longterm solution, you may want to rethink your vision. Several years ago I purchased a Surefit slipcover. It was similar in style and how it was used. I actually like this one better as the fabric is much thinner which makes it easier to work with than the twill cover from Surefit. Also, you HAVE TO TUCK. Wingback chairs come in many sizes. My older wingback was much larger than the two I am covering now. So, they make one size and you adjust. I love that they have little tags on the cover making it easier to install. Yes, I will have to retuck this thing at the end of everyday, but until we are able to have the chairs professionally recovered, this is our solution.

The slipcover does go on easily and look nice enough for a one-size-fits-all/not custom-tailored slipcover
I am retracting a star for the color - the picture posted by the seller is a bit misleading in terms of color. Instead of being a very grayish green as shown in the image, the slipcover is much greener, and not necessarily an aesthetically pleasing green for all(think washed out army green). That being said, I can live with the color until I find a new slipcover or have to get rid of the chair. The slipcover does go on easily and look nice enough for a one-size-fits-all/not custom-tailored slipcover. The only issue I have with the fit is that the apron on the bottom front of the chair is still visible because it extends past the slipcover.

To big
To big for my chair, slips around. Have to constantly rearrange. Positive, great colour. Should have different sizes.

Great wingback chair cover!
Loved the steel blue colour and it fit perfectly, very easy to put on! Washed it and it still fits great so I bought a second one!

It looks nice
I would have preferred one that had the foam pieces to keep it in place . Slides off when sitting on it . Going to try cutting a pool noodle to help .

Quality’s
Poor workmanship. Didn’t fit properly for a standard wing chair
