We had no problem other than a slight bit of adjustment to make it look 👀 perfect. We have had no problems and it looks much better than the Google Plastic Fixture. **Q: Does this come with screws?** A: No, it works with the screws provided with the Nest. **Q: Does the “Bronze” faceplate match the “gold” Nest thermostat?** A: I purchased the bronze Nest and the silver Nest. I purchased the bronze plate to match the bronze Nest. It looks great with the bronze Nest and looks just ok with the silver Nest. I can't say how it would look with the gold Nest. I would recommend getting the plate that matches. If you are able to find the bronze Nest and plate, you will love it! **Q: Can the metal plate adapter from nest be used with this? Our thermostat had a plastic electrical box that I have to use the metal plate to mount to it** A: This plate is meant to be placed flush with the wall, I do not believe that it would work with the adapter you are referring to.
