Laura Ashley - Soft & Lightweight King Quilt with Matching Shams

I love this quilt. Have been looking quite awhile for an all cotton quilt and this popped up on my Google feed. It's so pretty and fresh looking. Well made, quality stitching, fits my queen size bed perfectly. It's light weight but not flimsy. Beyond my expectations. It was listed at $95 and I checked the price history and saw that at one time it was $65 so I set a price alert for when the price dropped that low again. Within in 2 days I received a notification that it was now $65. Doable!! Ordered that day. So happy with this purchase.

I love this quilt! It arrived in great shape. It is not thick, more of a lightweight summer quilt which is what I needed. I washed it on gentle in cold water then put it in the dryer on air fluff to get out the wrinkles, then hung it up to dry. No shrinkage. There are a couple of things you should know about this quilt. #1- Some people complained about the color, it is not a bright blue. It is more of a dusty gray/blue which is exactly what I wanted. Looking closely you see more of the gray but mostly I see the blue tones. It looks lovely with the contrasting reversable print! #2- Because of the comments about queen size not fitting on a queen bed (mine has a 15" deep mattress) and also concerned about shrinkage I ordered a king size which fits perfectly. I wanted something with a soft, country feel and I really like this. My advice is always wash in cold water and never dry it with any heat at all, just air dry and hang to dry.

I purchased this quilt in blue and I'm very happy with it. I love that it's made of cotton and not polyester fabric. The quality is very good and it's attractive and sturdy. It's worth noting that this is a quilt, not a bedspread and will not fall over the edge of the bed as it does in the photo. Amazon warns that this is a frequently returned item due to color issues but I had no problem with the color (it's more of a slate/greyish blue. It's not a heavy set so you will need additional bedding for warmth.

I give the quality a solid 5. It’s soft Cotten and washes well. Its thickness is just right for summer and/or those of us whose internal temperature goes up at night. This also makes it easy to layer with other light blanket’s to make a bed even more beautiful. The lightweight is also favorable for summer and those of us who get warmer at night. It stayed crisp and new looking through washing and drying. I could not give it a 5 because the color is described as beige however it definitely would be better described as a muted light green with a hint of beige. If you are layering with other sheets, blankets or pillows, beige is not a good color to combine with this. That being said, it is a very pretty shade of a muted light green. I love this set.

I like this quilt and a lot. Just what I was looking for. Washes well and keeps it's shape well too.

Excellent quality and extremely soft. I ordered a king but actually have a queen-sized bed because I like bedding to reach the flooring. It's a little warmer than I was hoping as I live in South Carolina and temps can get high, but I'm very satisfied with the look and color, which I was hoping wasn't going to be TOO blue. It's more of a powder blue and I'm pleased.

La couleur n’est ni beige, ni taupe mais plutôt un gris vert. Difficile de trouver des draps de cette couleur. L’envers tire encore davantage sur le vert. Les taies sont bien trop grandes. Ce boutis est léger et la couleur est agréable mais pas ce que je voulais.
