Seymour DuncanYJM Logo Syjm 250 YJM – 250, 250 K Pot

These are great. Not the cheapest but up there with the best you can buy. For $10 it's a great improvement on my Stratocaster. I will be replacing the volume pots on all my Strat's with these as the stock volumes fail. I'm going to replace all the pots in my American Standard Strat with these, the original equipment is stiff and hard to turn.I put one of these on one of my Telecasters and could hardly believe how much better it operated.Don't cheap out, buy them, you won't be sorry.Don't let the appearance fool you, these are NOT like the Cheap Alpha pots sold by many others, these are very quality, just like all the Seymour Duncan pickup products.I will definitely be ordering more.

Excellent for volume swells. I installed this in my lefty American Standard Strat and what a difference!! I used a quality 40w soldering iron and the install went flawlessly. Huge improvement over the factory pots. Smooth feel.

The volume pot needs to be fast and effortless. This is fast and effortless. The only volume pot you should ever buy. Perfection

I write this review because I see someone that is giving this product 1 star with no explanation so here it goes:I have gotten many of these pots and never have a problem with either the 250k or 500k, they are really fast same as the EVH pots and both are made by Bourns, the YJM Duncan's are split shaft and the EVH's are solid shaft (like the ones for Telecasters, if you never have an EVH guitar),The reason I prefer the YJM Duncan's is that you have to be very careful when soldering, the EVH's may not work at all if you put to much heat on them.

If you do a lot of volume swells this mod is definitely worth your while

It is very fast, that's for sure. But the trade off is it feels quite disconnected... there is no feel whatsoever. But it does turn very fast with virtually zero effort.
