Their third album, Bloody Kisses, was released in 1993 to critical acclaim and became the first album for Roadrunner to reach certified Platinum status in the United States. Bloody Kisses included mainly themes of loneliness and heartbreak with songs like "Too Late: Frozen," "Blood & Fire," and "Can't Lose You." The organ-led "Set Me On Fire" has shades of sixties garage rock and the album includes a cover of the 1972 Seals & Crofts hit "Summer Breeze." "Christian Woman," and "Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare-All)" became the most popular tracks. To promote the album, the group went on a two-year world tour and were also featured on MTV, VH1 and Rolling Stone at the time.

2019 Run Out Groove Green/Black Vinyl
For those interested, this is for the 2019 Run Out Groove Green and black colored vinyl. Release July 19 2019.It sounds excellent. Very BIG sound. Good bass and treble. Excellent quality. The packaging is done very nicely. Comes with a printed lyric sheet, Anna cool poster as well. Supposedly limited to 3000 copies but who knows really. If you want it get it sooner rather than later.

Best this album has ever sounded!!
Wow. I’ve owned this album several times over the last couple decades. This is by far the best I’ve ever heard it. Well mastered for vinyl and booming loud. Beautiful gatefold sleeve. And a poster! The record itself is a super cool green. It could easily be worth twice this price. Buy it. Enjoy it!

I agree with the previous reviewer... but Type O Negative is like a religion to me. I buy this to love it. I saw TON 5 times and met them once in Philadelphia. Their music has been more awesome than any prescribed therapy could ever be.

Excellent price for great remastered vinyl copy of Bloody Kisses. The vinyl is green, includes the poster and everything is well made. Run Out did a great job with this one.

Ristampa doppio vinile 2018 180gr con booklet. Super disco e super packaging. Avevo il cd molti anni fa che ho venduto...ricomprato finalmente in vinile. Un capolavoro da avere in casa.

Re-Release in angebracht hochwertiger Aufmachung
Ein sehr gutes Re-Release, in Anbetracht vieler lieblos erstellter Veröffentlichungen von Klassikern die oftmals im Sound auch qualitativ abfallen. Diese Veröffentlichung ist durchdacht, klingt großartig, und die verwendeten Materialien (vom schweren Vinyl bis hin zur Stärke der für das Gatefold benutzten Pappe sind durchwegs überdurchschnittlich. Die Doppel LP kommt in einem eigenen Clear Sleeve mit Verschlussklappe, ein beigefügter Artprint im LP Format zeigt das Coverartwork frei von jeglicher Schrift (kein Bandlogo, kein Albumtitel) - was dem Motiv insgesamt eine sehr hochwertige Note verleiht. Beiliegend sind sowohl ein umfangreiches Booklet im Vinylformat, als auch die 'richtigen' Schutzhüllen für die Vinylpressungen selbst - innen mit Folie ausgestattet, aus stabilem Papier gefertigt, pechschwarz.Hier bleibt einem erspart, das Release umtauschen zu müssen weil z.B. ein Papiersleeve bzw. Kartonsleeve ohne Innenfutter gewählt worden ist und man die LP bereits mit Kratzern erhalten hat.Auch vor Seam Splits und anderen Versandschäden wurde ich hier zwei Mal verschont (zwei Mal, da mir zuerst fälschlicherweise die schwarze Vinylversion geschickt worden ist ; zudem fehlte der Artprint).Einzige negative Beobachtung: Scheinbar fehlt der Artprint des öfteren, ich habe nun zumindest aus Stichproben drei Mal die Info entnommen, dass dieser nicht beigelegt worden ist. Das kann beanstanden, und scheint - allein aufgrund des Gesamteindruckes dass man sich für diese Veröffentlichung wohl viel wohlüberlegte Zeit genommen und qualitativ durchweg hochwertigste Rohmaterialien/Ressourcen bevorzugt hat- nicht dem initierenden Label unterstellen und ist vermutlich eher ein Problem das irgendwo in der Produktionslinie zu suchen ist. Amazon betreffend kann ich ebenso nur gutes berichten, der Umtausch der LP verlief völlig problemlos, der Rückversand / Neuversand der richtigen Ware wurde finanziell auch komplett von Amazon übernommen und ging innerhalb von 3 Werktagen insgesamt (!) über die Bühne.Empfehlenswertes zukünftigtes Sammlerobjekt, trotz der im Grunde recht hohen Limitierung von ganzen 6666 Einheiten sicherlich ein Release, das bei der großen Nachfrage nicht ewig im Angebot zu finden sein dürfte.
