Review: Not really a "pair" if you want to be able to lift off the door without taking out screws - I've never purchased lift-off style hinges before so I had something to learn that I share with others: On boats lift-off style hinges are used so that doors can easily be removed if needed for added access room when space is at a premium. These "sets" include one left hinge and one right hinge but in order to mount them for easy lift-off function you typically need two lefts (for a left hung door) or two rights (for a right hung door). So in my situation for a Dutch door style hatchway I will need 4 sets of which I will use 4 left hinge sets and I will end up with 4 right hinge sets for my next project. The only way I can see these could be used together would be with the bottom hinge up and the top hinge down which would be fine except it defeats the lift-off advantage...... So the hinges look to be well made of good material and include a full set of screws (NOTE: all parts did interact with a magnet which is unusual for 316 stainless). .... I’ve reached out to seller to see if I received two of the same hinge instead of a left and a right. I will update my review if they make it right. UPDATE: Seller has ignored my request to make it right.
