I go to a Chiropractor/Clinical Nutritionist who practices Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing). After testing me recently, she told me if I needed Vitamin B12 in Methylcobalamin liquid form. I got some from her but ran out before my next visit with her. The M12-Max by Apex Energetics wasn't available on Amazon. So, figuring that other brands would be the same. I bought this product. It had the B12 plus other B's. Next appointment, I had her test this. Instead of strengthening me, it weakened me. I asked her why? She said it usually all depends on the other ingredients that are added. So, this might be good for others but not for me.

HOWEVER, BASED ON MY NOW TRIPLE EXPERIENCE W/ THIS PRODUCT, I HAVE DETERMINED THAT EITHER COMPLAINING REVIEWERS R JUST PLAIN WUSSES OR THE MANUFACTURER HAS IMPROVED ON THE FLAVOR, AROMA & SEAL OF HIS MOST EXCELLENT PRODUCT... BE SURE 2 INGEST THE WELL SHAKEN COMPLEX ALONG W/ FOOD 2 INSURE THE ELIMINATION OF THE POTENTIAL AFTERTASTE 4 WHICH LIQUID VITAMIN SUBSTANCES R NOTORIOUS! This stuff smells and tastes horrible. I see why the instructions say to mix it with juice and not take on an empty stomach, it’s nauseating on its own. The thiamine in it is responsible for the taste, but they could have attempted to use a better flavoring to cover it up more or maybe not use the synthetic form thiamine HCL. The flavor is like powdered orange drink and rotten eggs with a straight up liquid vitamin aftertaste.The bottle is made of plastic which was disappointing, I expected it to be glass like most dropper bottles are. I have to wonder if the taste and smell are made worse by the packaging, thiamine is a sulfur based compound and when it oxidizes it starts to have a nasty smell. The bottle arrived in a plain brown box of cheap cardboard that shed particles all over the rubber dropper tip so I had to rinse it off before opening. I’ll reluctantly finish out the bottle because I’ve already opened it and look for another brand next time. Besides the problems with the taste and packaging, it otherwise seems to work as a B complex supplement should.

Lasts quite a while, easy to use. Has a little bit of a mediciny taste, but not too bad. Better than my previous supplement. Will continue using.Update. I finished my first bottle and it was great. I was very pleased with the product. The bottle came completely enclosed in plastic, dropper and all. My second order was horrible. It came in a small box...no plastic surrounding it all. The dropper was just thrown in the box with the bottle...not too sanitary. When I removed the safety plastic on the bottle to open it to insert the dropper, I could see that the bottle had leaked. When I opened the lid, the plastic covering the opening of the bottle had small holes poked in it. I am returning it now and will start my search for a different product. Really disgusted because it is not cheap by any means. If it is a quality product and truly worth the price, it should come packaged much better than what I received.

The flavor is a bit much as it tastes very much like what it is “vitamins”, but it’s potent which I don’t mind because potency is good. I cannot keep it outside the refrigerator because it smells so strong and tends to leak for some reason. It’s absorbed quickly and definitely provides all of the benefits of a b-complex. One of the the main reasons I chose this brand is because it contains thiamine which is not often included in other formulas. The second reason is that the b-12 is in the form of methylcobalamin which is the naturally derived b-12 from foods, rather than Cyanocobalamin which is an artificial reproduction used in many other formulas and apparently not as easily absorbed. The bottle is a great size for the price also. As far as I’m concerned the pros definitely weigh out the cons here I can handle a strong vitamin taste and smell as long as I’m getting all the ingredients I’m looking for.

I get a noticeable boost in energy when I take this supplement. For example, I go up a couple of hills in top (i.e., 21st gear) when I bike ride. I feel hollowed out and end up mouth breathing when I don't have a dose of this in my system. When I take a dose within a couple hours of departing, however, the hills are much easier to take and breathing remains more relaxed.Sometimes my mouth and gums get irritated by sorbitil and citric acid. Glad this formula doesn't have any. I take it sublingually. I don't know why the directions state mixing the drops in a liquid when AFIK absorbency is better when taken under the tongue.This formula has no citric acid which is a plus for me. I have receding gums and citric acid hurts my teeth. and irritates my mouth. It can also be hard on my stomach.

This is my second purchase of this. I do not really feel more energized as i usually would with a B complex, it is easy to use and pretty gentle on my stomach, however i noticed from the comparison of both bottles, that the DV (Daily Values) percentage has changed, yet the amount of each vitamin remains the same, so thats rather confusing and disturbing.
