Will this prevent a heavy door from slamming all the way open? Our door opens and swings all the way hitting the siding with any type of wind.

It is adjustable for all types of winds except hurricanes, and for heavy doors, you can make it hard and soft as you want the adjustment, I recommend it.

Can this stop the door from opening beyond 90 degrees?

I think the door can be opened up to 110 degrees
