Tangle Free Spinning Pole -Silver Pole, Silver Ball TOP

At the 5 month mark its still working like brand new. Not one tangle. Excellent product. Best small flag pole I've ever owned.

This pole works, and is a moderately-priced solution NOT offered at local big box stores. The only possible problem is the collar attachment point, which is a nylon/plastic(?) insert into a free-spinning pole section. Be sure to use large keyrings at the flag grommet attachment points. Use a Flagpole flag weight to keep flag from riding up the pole (See photo suggestion). UPDATE 2 November 2015 - From hero to zero in no time flat! DATE of Purchase: 11 January 2015 DATE of Death: 28 October 2015 What I thought might be this Tangle Free Spinning Pole's weak point (i.e. the collar attachment point) never materialized. What did happen is shown in the included photos below: A bent upper pole spindle and no lower pole support. "Bend n Wear I" shows spindle wear and the false lower pole support bottom. "Bend n Wear II" shows the bent spindle and another shot of the false lower pole support bottom. This design developed these catastrophic failures within nine months. This is an extremely _weak_ pole. The upper pole's spindle is only 2.375" long, and comes firmly inserted within the lower pole (the pole was shipped assembled within a long square Amazon box). Looking up into the bottom of the assembly gives the buyer the false illusion that the upper spindle's support is contiguous along the entire lower pole. Not true. The bottom support ring is only 0.5" long, and the tube itself is thin. I watched the "Tangle Free Spinning Pole" slowly bend over a period of five weeks before it snapped. The pole was supporting a 3x5 Annin Tough-Tex American Flag . My apologizes if anyone bought this pole after reading my recommendation. This is a big problem with giving an immediate evaluation regarding the quality of a product - I imagine many such Amazon products escape negative input because they either have a sufficient number of good builds, with a _very high_ AQL (i.e. manufacture is okay with a 20% failure rate), such as the EHEIM Quick Vac Pro , or the product is designed to EVENTUALLY fail - such as this product. While Amazon may desire such input, there is no way to give a true evaluation of product quality without some actual testing, including destructive testing. There are many QC tests available, which would have shown the shortcomings of the "Tangle Free Spinning Pole". NOT RECOMMENDED!

This flag pole arrived with a broken sleeve. Some of the parts were already mounted on the pole and others were loose in the box. The flag mounting instructions don't apply to the new flag because the flag grommet holes are too large for the hardware provided. Even if the parts did fit, the cheap, brittle plastic can't be expected to last too long. I'll look around in the hardware store for a fix because the pole itself is okay. If I can't rig something better than the parts provided, it will be returned.

The spinning action of the outer section of the pole is over-stated. When mounted at an upward angle, the spinning action is not particularly free, and the flag can still wrap around the pole. It is easy to unwrap, simply by pulling on the flag, but don't expect the flag always to be flapping freely. It will wrap around the pole.

Works perfectly! What a relief not to have to ever again to fix the flag. Also parts look sturdy and look like they will last a long time.

I have to flag holders on my house and this pole wouldn't fit in either one so for now my new flag is hanging in a tree. Lame. Also my husband had to use zip ties to attach the flag. VERY Disappointed in this pole. Do not recommend it.

Works perfectly! Love it! I will only buy this type again. The others kept me reaching over my balcony rail to untangle the flag.. I havent had to untangle this one since I installed it.. Great item!
