Q: Are they suitable for car driving

I've worn these for nearly everything including driving. They are comfortable and I have about 4 pairs over the years. They do feel narrow at first but I have widish feet but they do give and soon become comfortable. Most pairs I have had go thin on the bottom after time so I replace them. They are not I would say a running shoe just a trainer.😁

Q: Are these any good for sparring and pad work?

Well my son uses them for the gym. They have good grip and flat soles and are flexible but offer good protection. I would suggest you check with your instructor if you have one for his advice. They are comfortable and durable.

Where the foot enters,the width is 3.5 inches

Q: Are they easy to get on?

Yes they are easy to slip on . I found they are a little on the narrow side though.
