CLOVE + HALLOW Hydratint Natural Blush - Vegan Serum Facial Cosmetics - Nakey

I’m 73 and find most makeup too harsh at this age. It takes me a long time to look like I use very little makeup. This blush is perfect. A little goes a long way. Just a dot on the cheekbone, massaging it to the areas you like to highlight. One thing. I have a mail polish color similar to the Nude blush. The blush bottle can easily be mistaken nail polish. Imagine my surprise when I took it out of the box and applied it to a few nails. Not a nice look. It’s also not a good idea to put nail polish on your cheeks. I know I’m not the only one!

On the Clove + Hallow website this shade, velvet is shown as a DEEP rich terracotta. In real life, it is terracotta but not as deep and vibrant as its shown on the site. Much more muted leaning towards a deep peach. The texture is beautiful and it blends out well onto the skin. If they ever come out with more shades of blush for darker skin I'd buy another one for sure. In fact, I will definitely explore more of their products as this one was a good buy for me.

First of all, the "Velvet" color is gorgeous. I'd been on the hunt for a more warm-toned blush. I love the color and it lasts a long time on the face. I've noticed with other natural blushes, they seem to wear off fairly quickly, but this lasted on me. The only note would be that it tends to separate, even if I shake it beforehand. So, I've found that putting a dab on the back of my hand and rubbing it around in small circles to mix the formula together again and then applying to cheeks works best!

The color is great. I think it would look good on most complexions. I have any issues with irritation. It goes on well and seems to last most of the day. I mostly use it for weekends when I want a little to no make up look.

I am absolutely in love with this liquid blush. I have been using it practically every single day since I purchased it. You need the tiniest amount! I do 1-2 tiny swipes on each cheek and blend the product in with my fingers. Once fully blended it leaves such a lovely natural flush to the cheeks. I love the life it adds to my skin on a day when I don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup. I also love that it is a liquid formula rather than a cream or powder because I can tap the product into the skin effortlessly. I really enjoy the shade, Georgia. If you are someone who loves the look of a peach blush on your skin as much as I do I know you will love this shade too!

The product is separated, and does not mix together when I shake it. It is not usable in this condition. Color is very sheer and hardly visible on skin.

This is a nice color blush on my fair skin. It is easy to apply and blend. I just used clean fingers to blend after applying my liquid foundation.
