Angelus Perfect Stain Shoe Wax Polish, Professional Shoe Polish For Leather Shoes & Boots, 3 fl oz

The wax emulsifies well and allows for good application with either disposable gloves or a microfiber cloth. It doesn’t have the hard plastic feel that the older kiwi wax does. I applied 20 coats to the shined BRAND NEW DANNER BOOT in the photo and I got a great law enforcement spec shine, it should be noted I let the boot sit for 20 minutes before buffing with a boot buffing cloth. This brand performs MUCH better than the base black kiwi and is USA MADE which is always comforting. I will be buying it again once my tin runs out.

I used to use another brand but the polish, in time, would dry and crack. In time I would be trying to polosh my shoes with pieces of polish. With Angelus the top screws shut tightly and the polish is smoothe, moist and easy to use. Oh, its also the best shoe polish for the price on the market!

This is the best shoe polish I've used. It just covers very well and it's just a lot more waxy and moist. The brown is absolutely fantastic for my Red Wing 2272s. I like it because it's thicker. It goes on thicker and I can build up three good codes and then my boots are waterproof and ready to go. Oil slides right off of them. When you open this the container itself is even better quality than other containers. It's so much more waxy and moist than it just goes on easy and builds up well. This is definitely what you want if you're looking for something to put a protective shell on some work boots.

This is the dark brown polish I have been looking for to darken my brown Ropers that showed dark brown in the pic when I ordered them but showed up a kinda beige color. This polish darken them right up, now they look like I expected. Good size tin too, polish was was not dried out or cracked.

This is not the normal brand I buy, but I figured I would give it a try. I find the consistency to be slightly hard ,after letting it dry, I buffed it the normal way, but it did not come up as a very high shine as a matter of fact, it was very dull. I would not buy it again or recommend it.

The package design both looks appealing and is easy to open. It works well as a standard shoe wax and polish for leather shoes.

Bought some great leather boots, but quite a lot paler pink than appeared in photos. Angelus application made the leather colour appear much deeper & more acceptable for day to day wear. Also feeds the leather nicely after trips into wet & muddy conditions & gives a nice shine when buffed.

This product is very expensive and the quality is not very good as compared to the price.

I've used Britsh "standard" shoe polishes all my life, and with the demise of my favourite Kiwi Dark Tan (not going to be sold in the UK any more) I was forced to buy something else. I thought I'd try this as a compromise between the usual Brit tin and the classy classic Saphir types which seem to be inordinately expensive. When the tin arrived the contents were a bit dry and hard, but I used it just the same. The result was quite stunning - not in the high shine but in the everyday wearing of the shoes. The shine lasted and lasted, and it shed the rain - I even walked through puddles and then shook my feet and all the water came off my shoes! None of the polishes I've used before shed water like Angelus - one trip in the rain with those and the polish is basically gone. Next, I decided to rejuvinate the polish a bit by adding some real turpentine and melting the polish on a hot plate. When cool the polish was much the same as before: relatively hard. Polishing shoes with Angelus polish means a harder dab in the tin to get polish on the brush, and more time rubbing it into the leather. Boy, is it worth it! You get a really good shine, and it lasts a long time, and sheds water lastingly. The dark brown colour is not quite the same as my much-loved Kiwi Dark Tan, it's a bit less reddish. It is a good shade of brown however, and I'm happy with the change. Being hard, this shoe polish should also last longer than the others.
