Awesome
Easy to set up- high quality product- the loops at the ends are tough and strong- the tarp is super high quality.I love this thing so far. I love that it came with rope attached already too.

Really love this tarp.
The media could not be loaded. This is really a great shade solution. Once you've set it up 3 or 4 times, it becomes very easy to do. Love that it's very lightweight and stows away rather compactly. As you can see in the video that I posted, I use my own telescoping lightweight poles. The steel ones that come with it are just too heavy. Weight is always a big concern when Overlanding. I've had it in pretty high winds and I have no worries about it not handling it. This one is with the bug screens. Times when I just want to block the wind I pull them down, and they do a very good job settling things down.I very much recommend.

Better than nothing but not exactly what I thought it was
1) It wasn't clear to me that the mosquito mesh is specifically designed to fit over a hatchback car - so where there would normally be a full "wall" of mesh, there's a huge gap with a smaller band of mesh which would normally fall between the bumper of your hatchback car and the ground. We put the tent in place of the car to fill the gap - which sort of worked but then we had to trip over the lower portion of mosquito mesh to get in the tent, plus our shelter was a big slope shape for the week.2) It never rained where we were, but it was muggy enough in the morning to produce significant morning dew, and the rain-fly roof sagged a good bit from the weight of it which was concerning. The material did that thing that crappy tents do where you brush against the inside of the fabric and the moisture just comes right through. So not sure how it will hold up in actual rain...I'll be bringing extra tarps next time for sure.3) There is no possible way you can set this up by yourself. Thank god there were two of us, because I tried to do it on my own just to get it done and....definitely not happening. You need someone to hold one pole up and hold it in order to put the other up. So if you're a solo camper - bring something to MacGyver this thing together.4) Overall, the mosquito net was a lifesaver, the assembly with two people was easy and quick, and it looks pretty nice set up.

Perfect for adventurous car camping!
Absolutely love this product. Allowed us to sleep comfortably in our car with the tailgate open and all of our stuff under the tent, out of the elements. Super easy to setup with 2 people (after you get the hang of it). Built with very durable materials. Keeps 99% of bugs out with the screen down. Only negative is that the screen is very thin and can tear easily. It worked perfect for our off road trip through Utah. Only product of it’s kind that I was able to find, would highly recommend! Thank you Slumberjack. We can’t wait to go on our next road trip.

Really wanted to like it
So I really wanted to like this product. I thought I had found a hidden gem when this showed up on my recommended list. I jumped on it a scooped it up and planned out a trip to break it in.The weather for my trip had the possibility of rain so this was going to be perfect, or so I thought. For reference I have a 2018 4Runner without a roof rack just the two stock rails on the top. We get to the site and eventually get this set up, this is when I notice the first issue's. Where the awning/tarp connects to the rear hatch area it is sagging, really really bad. So I open up the rear hatch and it fixes the issues however I'm a little annoyed by the design that I MUST have the hatch open otherwise it sags. The next issue that I noticed was that the bungie drawstring that goes around the rear leaves about a foot gap in the screen on both sides which allows the bugs to begin to get in.Here comes the rain. After dinner we settled in and it began to sprinkle a little bit, no big deal we're covered and that's one of the reasons we purchased this. Then it really begins to rain and the awning/tarp begins to sag and collect water which is weighing it down in the center. We begin to episodically push up and let the water drain off and go about our evening. Then we noticed drops actually coming inside in the middle of the tarp. There's a black section where it looks like everything was pieced together that is now leaking everywhere.Eventually we load up inside the back of the 4Runner where we're going to sleep and just say YOLO to the awning, we got anything that shouldn't get wet inside the vehicle at that point. The next morning we wake up, one side has collapsed and what's still standing has roughly a bucket's worth of water pooled inside of it. My best guess is that the rain kept filing up the awning and without someone to help it along it's way it eventually gave up on life.Packed it up and now it's sitting there post trip in the back of the 4Runner and I'm not sure if I want to air it out or just throw it away and spend the money on a good awning that can actually stay standing. So does it protect from the sun? Yeap. Does it protect from the rain? Not really. If your goal is just a sun shade sure. If you think you might have weather invest in something else.

Exceeded my expectations!
Had to set this tarp up at night for the first time, although I did open it to inspect it when I first received it. Just to note the tent was not staked down in my pics as I was merely test fitting and inspecting the tarp. Setup was fairly straightforward and it stormed on us the first night. No water intrusion! The screen house really helped keep the skeeters out. It basically extends the usable space of my pickup bed with camper shell. The screen even extends below the rear bumper of vehicle. Folding the tarp was simple. Absolutely recommend for any overlanders looking for a good option over the awnings attached to roof or bed racks.

The best shade for tailgate!
Perfect screened sunshade...worked great on my 99 4runner. Highly recommended and so easy to setup my 11 year did it without watching the video.
