Well worth the price and very informative
As a fellow thyroid suffer ( Grave's disease ), I have experienced a lot of these symptoms and searched for answers through my own journey. This consolidates the ideas that there is in fact muscle and nerve involvement in some patients whereas they have no idea what is happening to them and feel as though their Drs are not listening to them.I would highly recommend this book as contrary to the comment and rating of someone who left a 1 star, there are many people out there who need this information and everything within this book isn't as simple and couldn't be put in a webpage. There obviously has been a lot of research and the theories mentioned are based on a thyroid patient with autoimmune issues himself who has explained that some patients can and often do have myopathy and neuropathy even after they thyroid levels are within "normal range".The theory of Epstein Barr Virus ( EBV) is one I have often considered myself so even though it's true most people have been exposed at some time in their life, it is not true that someone with autoimmune issues couldn't have issues because of it.I was sent to a Rheumatologist after seeing a Neurologist, who told me the time in which I was going through symptoms of Grave's disease ( Autoimmune Hyperthyroidism), the damage to my muscle took place. Now, even though I have an normal blood lab report doesn't mean that I am cured of all of the issues that this disease has caused. This book goes deeper than a simple webpage. Some people don't read deep enough into something to really " listen".Be well my fellow thyroid patients.

Good Info
It was comforting to know, that even though my doctor had no experience with patients suffering from neuropathy with newly discovered thyroid disease, this author has experienced the same troubling symptoms that I'm having. It was simply and clearly written and a quick read. Though not a doctor, he does try to understand the cause by studying research in the areas of neuropathy and hypothyroidism, and also uses his and others' life experiences to suggest ways to treat and cope with this problem.

Not much here...
This book would have made a nice webpage. It is SHORT. I wish I had known that I was paying $3.25 for what is essentially an essay with "chapters" instead of section headings. If you have had thyroid problems or peripheral neuropathy for more than a couple of years, you will probably already be familiar with the ideas herein (balance your thyroid meds, check for B12/vit-D/magnesium deficiencies, exercise). The author also has a theory about the Epstein-Barr virus triggering thyroid disease; however, since 95% of the population has EBV, I'm not convinced there's a connection. This little "book" was simply not worth the purchase price to me, considering how much similar content is available for free on the web.
