Super elegant, looks like china, good for really fancy occasions. We had a special occasion recently and it really made a difference to use these. I also feel like there is less leaching of plastic when you put hot food on. I can't tell you for sure, but I can say that if you put a hot piece of food on the plate it's not going to get soft and flexible in the middle of the plate, or lightly deformed, as other plastic plates do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bang for your buck *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2020* These are very sturdy and pretty. The only problem I had was I received what was apparent to be a return. They box was damaged, the plastic the plates are supposed to be enclosed in was open and silver tassel was in with the plates. I reordered because they were so pretty.
