lightweight and very comfortable headphones
I usually search, investigate and compare before making a purchase of a really necessary item. These work well for use in an area where ambient noise is not too loud such as machine noise. For noise in an office workplace they are perfect. I tried them to go cycling, but even with the volume at maximum the noise of the traffic and the street makes the sound of the headphones null, the sound of the wind in the headphones is felt a lot. Practically discarded for cycling unless you are going through an area without traffic. But for work, which is precisely what I need them for, they are perfect, the sound quality is good, it does not allow you to turn the volume to the maximum because the sound is distorted, making a kind of ssss. But sound is clear and nice at about 80% of its capacity. I am satisfied with the headphones, the controls are very easy and the use is very intuitive, the buttons are well located, the location of the buttons is quickly learned. Very light and comfortable to wear for hours, notice that you are wearing them, the construction materials are very good, as well as their design. I definitely recommend them.

Great Value Bone-Conducting Headphones. Great for walking, whilst doing housework and cycling.
The product is very good. I have tried other similar bone-conducting headphones and this seems to be on a par with the others I have tried, if not slightly better in sound-quality. When I first started using them, I found the sound a bit tinny. However, after a few hours of use, I decided to adjust the positioning and that made all the difference. The sound quality after that was very good across the board. I tried with YouTube videos, Google Play Music, video games, TV shows and it seemed to be good across them. Therefore, experiment with different positions until you find the sweet spot. Battery life is OK. I got about 3 and a bit hours out of opening it from the box. I suspect it would be around or just over the 4 hours mark on a full battery, maybe more. The bluetooth range seems to be OK. I can go around 5 metres from it as long as there's a clear line from the phone to the headphones. I found it struggled and cut out occasionally when I had the phone in my bag, whilst wearing the headphones. This seems to be the same limitation I have with other bluetooth headphones anyway and tend to put my phone at the top of the bag wherever possible to counteract this. Build quality seems good. It doesn't feel particularly cheap, but certainly doesn't have the refinement of more expensive models. However, would you really want or need that? Headband strap is comfortable to wear. You can't seem to adjust it so feels a little weird at first but you get used to it very quickly. A few considerations: - Turning the volume up too much will feel odd. You can hear fine on a lower volume, and I guess the overall point of using them is so you can use them whilst still hearing your surroundings. - They are not going to compare in sound-quality to noise-cancelling headphones. They are not like for like technologies. - As you can hear your surroundings and there is uncomfortableness at louder volumes, you may find that in loud areas, such as a busy road or at a gym, that you cannot get what you're listening to to loud enough levels. However, again, wanting something to cancel out the surrounding noise is not what this is designed for. - I am not convinced it's amazing for cycling. It's OK, but don't expect this to be the perfect solution for cycling. I think the wind-noise in addition to the issues above make it difficult to get the volume levels right. - They do leak sound, therefore you may find they distract other people in the gym. I would be a bit wary wearing them there. Personally, I think the most ideal use is for when you're walking around or cycling somewhere quiet and and you still want to be aware of your surroundings. I particularly found them useful for doing housework/gardening as this is an ideal balance to have something to keep you entertained, whilst not having to carry a speaker around and allowing you to work wirelessly.

Works perfectly
Struggle with normal earphones to keep them in and not keen on full headphones while running as a lot of our local roads have no pavements. These are perfect. Sit well over the top of glasses too which was a major concern and also mean you can hear traffic around you. Maybe not the best sound as they sit just in front of your ears and tend to act as small speakers as much as bone conducting but I really like them and for me they work perfectly well. Means I can listen to music to distract me but without having lost the sense of hearing to know what's going on around. Haven't managed to run the battery out yet whilst running so can't comment on its life span but for me they are good value for money and do what I need.

Neat headphones
Original got a set of these in May 2020 and they were great. Love running with music and these worked well allowing me to hear the traffic whilst running on the roads safely. Perfect. Battery life was pretty good although when running out of battery the headphones announce this repeatedly which is annoying. Suddenly about 20 months they refused to charge up. I think I may have left them on accidentally, but whilst the light would light for charging, nothing could be heard. I decided to buy a new pair of headphones from a different provider. The new set were terrible - the bird around the back of the neck was too short (I have quite a big head) and I couldn’t hear the music through both ears unless I held the speakers in place which is clearly hopeless. This set was returned, and I bought another set of Tayogo. Music in stereo again, hurrah! The headphones come with a years guarantee which can be extended to 2 - so hopefully I have at least another 2 years of sound ahead of me. Edit: second pair of headphones has now died without warning after 15 months. The additional years warranty bounced back from the seller unregistered so that’s 2 sets of headphones which have each lasted about 15 months. Feels like end of life is programmed in. I’ll be looking elsewhere for the next set.

Sound was acceptable, until I discovered the autocombustion feature
Sound was average at best. I used it for running and listening to podcasts - sound was acceptable. It served a purpose for almost 2 years, until this evening I put it on charge and smelt a strong smell of burning plastic. I found a thin wisp of black smoke exiting the charging socket. I unplugged and it stopped. I would normally charge this overnight. I will not be using this product again. For one, the charging cable has now melted into the unit and wearing the earphones would now be cumbersome. On a more serious note, my house could have burned down with me asleep upstairs in bed. Amazon should recall this item as they are, in my humble opinion, unsafe for use and sale.

Easy to use and great value for money.
I already own a pair of AfterShokz Trekz ÂŁ100+ headphones so I was interested to see how these much cheaper headphones compared. The short answer they compare very well. Very well indeed. The headphones comes in a nice box, look great and would be lovely as a gift Very easy to set up, done in a matter of minutes and connected well with my smart phone. Easy to use. I especially like that it is very easy to press play and pause as this button is on the side of the left speaker. Very handy when running. Unlike my AfterShokz Trekz headphones it's not possible to order these headphones in sizes. I have quite a small head so when i first put these on i felt they were quite big around the back of my head. However using them they feel like they fit well and dont move on when running. The sound is good. The headphones come fully changed and I have been using several times over the past week and I'm yet to recharge. So good battery life. Overall very happy and pleased. Very good value for money.

Be clear on what you want from this unit. Update: Be sure to wear correctly!!!
I recently purchased a top of the range unit from Aftershokz and was so thrilled with it that the only problem I had was I couldn't use it all day, so I needed something to take the pressure off the Aeropex whilst it recharged ... a very first world problem, but it was in that context I purchased the Tayogo 2. I rarely leave reviews, but Tayogo offer a 2 year warranty conditional upon leaving an honest review. Overall I would have to say that I'm disappointed with the performance. The appearance, fit and perceived quality is all good, pairing is easy and for 80% of the time I simply take them for granted and am not the least aware of which set I'm wearing, apart from cranking up the volume when I first put them on! They're bulkier than Aftershokz and heavier, but I'm oblivious to that when wearing them, they're comfortable in use. Most of the time I'm listening to audio books, informational stuff on you tube, watching films, etc. and as long as the source has adequate volume everything's fine. My key reason for investing in the Aeroplex was to wear whilst working out. A water rowing machine and a road bike are my main pieces of work out equipment and the Tayogo is simply inaudible whenever there's any level of background noise ... even heating a kettle dominates the Tayogo on full volume when trying to listen to the spoken voice. This failing is with phone on max volume long after you've had to give the phone permission to exceed its recommended volume levels, which came as a surprise to me since I've never encountered this on any earphones or headset before. This volume problem also manifests itself on any incoming call, rendering the caller virtually inaudible, invariably resulting in having to disconnect the Tayogo on anything other than the briefest conversations. If this was my first encounter with bone conduction technology I'd probably have concluded that it doesn't work and returned the item. I've accepted the shortcomings because I picked it up at what seemed like a bargain price, and can enjoy the Aeropex whilst exercising, but I can't bring myself to recommend this Tayogo2 with its current volume limitations Update: I'm not sure what made me do it, but I've adjusted the way I've been wearing this headset so that the loop is high at the back of my head and the conduction units are allowed to sit as low as possible . The change is light and day .... effective volume raised considerably! Not as loud as the Aeropex, but more than adequate for the work outs that I described above, and I'd expect to be good enough for telephone conversations too. Have to say I feel a bit sheepish about my original review, but better to share and put matters right! I've upgraded the overall rating to 4 stars simply because they don't perform at the same level as the ÂŁ150 pair, but on a value for money basis they probably deserve to be 5 stars

Quality phones
Owned a wired set of bone conduction phones for a few years now, Aftershox bought by my daughter for my bike rides and all round use, I've been able to wear them at work and they've been ideal for health and safety reasons. So I looked into the Tayogo S2 Bluetooth set, I have not been disappointed with them for sound quality and ease of use (a week in) the buttons may be a bit small for gloved hands but that's a minor gripe compared to the plus points, connected quickly to all my Bluetooth gadgets, mp3, phone and tablet, literally in seconds. The battery life is good easily reaching the six hour claim. They are very light and comfortable and the outer noise is less than my Shox, my wife can barely hear them when on a decent amount of volume, I've seen reviews stating they're not bone conductors, I can state they definitely are and are well worth the money, it's early days yet but I'm very happy with these.....🙂
