Recomended
I would recommend this product. It is a really useful product. But when use camera over battery, Quickly drains the camera's battery. Thanks to the seller, he sent the product in very good condition.

Solid choice. Works exactly as promised.
I use this as part of a small desktop “eye contact” teleprompter rig for doing Zoom Presentations. It’s features, especially the built in “image flip” capabilities, make it ideal for this.I wish the larger versions were more affordable, but I haven’t been able to locate any of the “10” and up” class of monitors that have these types of internal controls or features. This unit does.

Good looking but small 4k display.
I purchased this to be used with a teleprompter. It’s a single 4k resolution and can not be used as 1080p. The settings do not stay when it is powered off. So in order not to have to go back in and flip the image every time I turn on the pc, I keep it on always. Far from ideal... I would return this if the return window was still open.

Save your money for a better product
This monitor was bought simply because it was a budget price. I had heard good things about the predecessor, the Lilliput A7, so when I saw this one was slightly bigger AND supported 3D LUTs, I thought it was perfect, especially being far easier on the wallet. However, it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!The custom LUT support was the major selling point. But when I tried loading a custom LUT, (which had worked on another brand of monitor) it failed. I looked over the instructions and tried to rectify any issues on my part. Still failed. I tried creating a LUT from scratch, using the exact settings it requires. Still failed. Back to the instructions...As someone else mentioned in their review, the manual says "If the format does not meet requirements, use tool 'LUT Tool.exe" to transform it". Ok, where exactly do I find that? Not on the company website.Moving on to other issues, I was greatly dismayed at the horrible image right out of the box. It took a lot of adjustment with the color controls to match what the camera's LCD was showing. And using the full screen to display the image instead of matching the camera's aspect ratio is just a bad idea.Looking at the build of the unit, it feels just ok. Not rock solid, but not super flimsy. But, the screw thread on the mounting arm was longer than the mounting hole was deep, so I was a bit concerned about the stability. I tried the underside mounting hole with a handle and, again, the screw was longer than the hole was deep making it feel unsteady, especially with an NP-F960 battery (not included) attached.Speaking of the battery, it seemed like it would last quite some time with the larger battery, but it did start to get surprisingly warm around the battery mount after a relatively short time. I didn't use it for any considerable length of time, so I don't know how this will affect extended use.It did come with an AC power adapter and sun hood, neither of which I tried, as well as a mini-to-standard and micro-to-standard HDMI cable, so that's an added value.Overall, I am greatly disappointed as the LUT support was the selling point for me. I am contemplating returning the unit and putting the money aside until I can afford what I really want, UNLESS I can reach someone at the Lilliput Customer Service and they can rectify the situation. Otherwise, I will strongly advise others looking at this monitor to save up for a much better option. This one is not worth the hassle.**UPDATE**I called Lilliput USA customer service and was quite shocked at the lack of professionalism. At first, I thought I called someone's home by mistake because they didn't identify themselves as a Lilliput representative...just an agitated "HELLO?"After a rough start with the conversation, I asked about the LUT support on the monitor. I was told to email my custom LUT to them and they would convert it. I asked if there was a way to do it myself and they said they would send me a program to download and I would have to then get a product key to unlock the full version. I did ask if there was a way to properly format a LUT in Photoshop or something so I wouldn't have to convert anything, but the answer was not intelligible. Overall, a lot of trouble just to get the monitor to do what it was advertised to do.I still stand by my 2-star review, further reinforced by a bad customer service experience, but honestly, if all you are looking for is a big, cheap monitor, it works for that. If I were desperate and it went on sale, I MIGHT consider buying another, but my first impression is NOT a good one.

It is a good 8" field monitor!
I like it very much. All the functions work with 4k output , including zoom, while some monitors cannot. 8.9" is almost 9", and it makes my video shooting more enjoyable. With the HDMI output, you can connect it to a large TV, just like to have a production monitor at same time. There are only 2 user-definable function buttons, and most other similar monitors at least have four. You need a F970 buttery for long recording, then it is too heavy to use on-camera, so I attach it to a tripod plate just beneath the camera.

Good budget monitor
I use this monitor in studio for macro work rather than on video shoots. For my needs checking focus, exposure, and capture the monitor works great. Image quality is good though overall contrast could be better. It’s been reliable thus far. Menus could be improved and some “features” just create clutter on the screen. Overall, though, it’s very useful and inexpensive.

Custom Luts do not take standard format .cube files
Far to largeFar to heavy,Far to much of a PITA to go through the hoops to get the software and get it registered with them just to load your custom luts into the unit.the mouting software is plastic where it should not be and broke the first day.some of the cold shoes are to small to fit in half my cold shoes on my rigging.I will be returning this unit for something better.the fact this is to large to use without my rigging but will only fit in the hot shoe on the camera and not on the rigging is a major deal breaker.
