Mighty Putter Clip Holder for the Golf Bag

The rings really help. Have tried 3 putter holders: one, short putter holder with ball marker (see1st image), worked OK until it cracked in two after 3months, still securing it to bag was a pain using combo of nylon string through ball marker hole then tied to Velcro ring. Second one, the long straight holder (see image 2), no holes to pass string thus poorly secured and held putter too high. The problem with the 1st and 2nd putter holders is they come off the bag when the putter withdrawn unless they are tied down. Finally, the Horne putter holder has 2 rings to allow securing with string or Velcro ( I used 2 loops of Velcro) through the inside ring and securing to a support pole inside my bag. Alternatively secure to what ever strap or ring, inside or out side the bag. Had it one month and hasn’t cracked yet.

I did not like the black putter holder I had been using. Not only was the common black one cheap looking, it did not function well for its purpose. I had to use two hands to get my putter free. One hand on the black putter holder and the other hand to extract my putter. When I seen that this one was designed and built differently, I figured I would give it a go. I love this one. It stays put and the putter doesn't hang up when it comes time to extract it. Now I don't need to use two hands to get my putter free. This is extremely handy when you are grabbing a couple of wedges and your putter at the same time. This one performs like a dream. It is sturdy and stays where you put it. These clips are designed to be used in such a fashion that your putter hangs grip end up, not the other way around, like when you put the putter in your bag. I liked this so much I ordered another one for a back up! I highly recommend this product! I threw the black one out........I really don't hate anyone enough to give it away!

Played (1) 18-hole round using HGM Putter Clip and it worked perfectly. So far very happy with this purchase as it allows for more room in the one divider compartment shared by driver, woods and hybrids. I primarily use pushcart which means rim of bag is at an angle and yet clip, when holding putter, wants to be vertical. This means one side of clip rests on bag rim while the other side is lifted off. This concerned me initially but was not an issue at all - putter & clip stayed solidly attached even when rolling cart over bumpy terrain. To be honest, this is in part because bottom of clip is positioned firmly against seam of bag preventing it from rotating. Still, for this reason, and because clip does not come in black, I rated it 4/5 stars. I removed rings once clip was in place and keep them in my bag.

Good strong holds my putter perfectly clips on and a way you go

This putter holder makes my putter more accessible while golfing. However I must make sure every time that I use it, I get the putter on the clip just right, otherwise the putter falls off. Unfortunately my golf bag does not have a good place for the putter. Better to buy a bag with a designated putter hole.

I love this clip holder. I’ve had many different ones, sometimes for less money, but the value is in this particular clip. You can get it over wide areas of the bag, which intern offer greater stability. I’m very pleased. I use a carry bag with a push cart.

Have had one of these clipped to my bag for years. This was a replacement for one I lost. I love it because it works great on my push cart or when riding. Don't use it when carrying because it's not made for walking. But I love not pulling my putter out on every hole, getting the grip stuck in the bag going in or out, and just having the putter available immediately because you know it's the one club your going to use or pull on almost every hole. This is a little piece of easy.

The holder does a good job keeping ahold of the putter, but the weight of the putter tilts it while carrying so it falls off. Because of this, it's one purpose it's unable to do.

It keeps popping off the golf bag.

Much vaunted pull ring snapped off on first fitting, have used cheaper versions in past,this seems no better. My own fault for believing the hype,over priced

I am hopeful that this clip will last me the rest of my golf life. It is very expensive for getting only 1 piece. I would easily pay less than half that if I had to order this product again, but I will never by another at this price when I can buy 20 of the other ones for less! I also had a problem with delivery, it took over 1 month to get to me when it was being shipped from within the same country in a city that was less than 3 hours away from me! Overall, disappointed.
