They do the job!
Itโs an adapter. Iโm not sure what anyone expects of this, but it does what itโs supposed to do. It plugs in easily and lets me use my HDMI monitors with my DisplayPort outputs. Itโs worked without any issues for over a year now.

Helped my connect my Nvidia Jetson to HDMI.
This item allowed me to connect a nvida Jetson which has only a DP connector to HDMI.

Great value to hook up DP to HDMI
Bought these to connect the wifeโs new laptop docking station to her not-new pair of 1080p screens. Her old docking station was ancient enough that it had VGA and DVI outputs. The new one skipped HDMI and had dual DisplayPort ports. And of course her employer didnโt think to include any dongles, as if every house just has a couple of DP capable monitors laying around. Anyway, these worked like a charm and she now has 1080p connections to both monitors for just about ten bucks. Note: These are not 4K capable. Neither are my monitors, but be aware if thatโs your use case this is not the product for you.

Please learn how to work your computers dual screens.
I assume most are using these for their computers or laptops. I did not have any issues with these that I didn't have with any other brand, including multiple Dell 20+ dollar ones. Some computers I work with had issues with these and all the others, bad ports probably. In any case, these worked as intended and have been working fine for months. Only issue I have are users who have no Idea how to operate their computers. As a Dell only shop we dont change much from model to model enough to cause confusion to users. Windows 10 erased everyone's mind on how to use a computer. Windows 10, press the windows key or Icon key at the bottom and the P, letter WINKEY+P. Select clone. Itll reset or not set sometimes.

good 'nuff
They work ok for price. Probably should be a couple bucks cheaper but they were prime and I needed them now.

Both working well for the last four months. Up to 1080p.
There isn't a whole lot to say about these, they just work as long as you understand the limitations. I go from these adapters to 6' HDMI cables to monitors, I haven't tried longer cables with them. They support up to 1080p, so if you are looking higher resolution you will need to look elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend these or similar "pig tail" adapters if you will be frequently plugging/unplugging them, for fairly static setups they work well.

Works well for the price
I had bought these to occasionally attach an ultrawide screen I had laying around to my work setup, and didn't realize until after they got here that they only support 1920x1080 at 60hz and not 2560x1080. I did have some extra HDMI cables around though, so I was able to swap some cables around and get the resolution I needed on the monitors I needed. None of that is the products fault, I just didn't read what was advertised - they work well for what they are intended to do, and just plug and play.

Solved my issue!
I had a DP MST hub connecting 2 monitors to my video card. Each time my computer came out of sleep, one monitor displayed a crazy multicolored/lined display, almost like what you would have seen back in the day with the VGA cable was just barely hooked up and about to fall out of the port on the back of the computer. Replacing the DP MST hub and instead connecting the HDMI to DP adapters directly to the ports on the back of the computer stopped my issue. A single connection per port is generally always a better solution, even when using an adapter like this, rather than using a hub anyway. Be aware these adapters only allow 1080p though! I have (2) 1080p displays and (1) 4k display. I had accidentally used it on the 4k display and quickly found out when I turned it on that my resolution had dropped down to 1080p because of the adapter. Very happy with my purchase!
