Bought another one!!
More than a year ago, I bought this toy. My review from then is below. Eventually, we had to retire the first one and I got a second one. I am still amazed at all the “bad” reviews. Listen people, dogs are descended from wolves who will literally tear living prey apart to eat it: skin, muscle, bones… So if your dog is a “chewer,” then buy him chew toys. Don’t buy him stuffed animals and expect them to survive. With this toy, we play fetch, tug of war, “puppy” (don’t know what to call that game but Charlie just grooms and grooms the wabbit till it’s soaking wet). We DON’T let Charlie chew on it. When he starts chewing, we take wabbit away and give him a chew toy! He’s smart. He eventually learned not to chew. If he found himself chewing, he’d stop and go get a chew toy! Maybe your dog isn’t capable of that. No judgement. But if it isn’t then it is YOUR job to do it for them. If you aren’t doing that, and your dog chews a toy up, that is YOUR fault, not the toy manufacturer. You don’t blame Ford or Chevy when you total your car because you did something stupid. Why would you blame these guys when you let your dog chew on something that isn’t a chew toy? Didn’t know there was a difference and play toys and chew toys? Well, now you do. Chew toys are hard and durable. Play toys are soft and fluffy. They ALL go in the dogs mouth. This new one will eventually get ruined too. And I’ll replace it again with another Walter the Wabbit. It’s a great value. Toy lasts all year? Yes please. I’d buy them by the case!!Old review ….I bought Walter the Wabbit for a pup friend of mine who loves stuffed toys. He's a pointer mix, 55 pounds, and solid muscle. From a puppy, he would shred - sometimes within minutes - the standard toys you would find at the pet stores. Charlie would always feel guilty when he did. He would even come and get one of use to show us the carnage and look like he's asking you to fix it. Since we gave him this rabbit, Charlie carries it with him everywhere. When it's time to sleep, the rabbit better be there. Charlie will play hard with it. He shakes it like he's trying to snap it's neck. He runs with it. He gives it to us to play tug-of-war. And he's been doing this for the better part of 8 months now. No rips. No holes. I just wish he would let us wash it because he constantly licks it and "rabbit" could use a bath. It's like he's grooming it. But he won't put it down and if we take it, it is the worst thing in the world we could do to Charlie (according to him) and we are the worst people ever. No matter where Charlie is, Walter is right there. And if he ever does set Walter down, and gets distracted, all we have to say is "where's your rabbit?" and Charlie will stop what he's doing and go directly to there he left him. And if we've moved him in the meantime - well, let's just say we get yelled at and when we return the rabbit, we get the cold shoulder for a while. Charlie does NOT have a sense of humor about stupid monkey-people trying to hide his rabbit. Buy this thing. If your pup loves it even a tenth as much as Charlie does, it's a fantastic investment. It brings so much joy that it is worth it weight in gold.

The first, and I mean the FIRST indestructible toy my pup has ever had.
You know how it goes when you buy toys for your dogs… You wonder if they’re gonna like it, if they’re gonna chew it up in 20 minutes, or if they like it for a day and you think, what a waste of money. Well, this isn’t the toy for any of that. I couldn’t believe how instantly my gal took to it when I put it on the ground and made it squeaked. She carries it around continually and she’s never carried *anything* around since I’ve had her. I bought her countless stuffed toys and they literally last 30 minutes or less and these toys are described as “indestructible”. I’m just shy of paying for your toy if your dog destroys it cause I don’t think there’s anything my dog hasn’t destroyed lol. (Parker is 60 pounds, a lab/pit mix rescue).

High quality fetch and tug toy
Our dog is 10 months old and loves to learn. I felt this dog toy would fall inline with what he’s learning now which is no biting and dropping things. If he starts to check it, we tell him no bit which he usually does. If he does not stop biting or chewing the toy we say it again and replace it with a chew toy. He slept with the Wabbit in his crate without chewing it the first night he had it. He absolutely loves the toy. We won’t let him play with this toy totally unsupervised until we’re sure he fully understands that he’s not to chew it. That’s the beauty of a nice plush toy like Wabbit is that it can be used as a training tool to teach your dog good habits.

Adorably Durable
The only soft toy I've bought my puppy that has lasted over 2 months and counting! He loves it for fetch and for cuddling. I thought it was expensive initially, but it has turned out to be worth it for us.

No better than other stuffed dog toys
Adorable stuffed toy and my dog was very excited to finally be allowed to have a stuffy. Being a strong chewer, he’d always tear others up in the first couple of minutes. I got this one hoping it would stand up for a little while given it had many positive reviews. Unfortunately, this one was no different despite the hype and he’d swallowed an ear before I could get it back. It may be good for regular chewers, but definitely not good for strong chewers.

Extremely durable, but not indestructible.
My dog is an aggressive chewer and destroys every toy I buy. Based on the description and the positive reviews, I was very anxious to get one of these to try. However, just as the description says, it is not indestructible. Overall it is well made from quality materials. It is extremely durable, but within 30 minutes of my dog going at it, he was able to rip up the face. That seems to be the only weak spot because everywhere else is still intact. I would still recommend it for dogs that aren’t as an aggressive chewer.

Chewers
Most durable dog toy I've ever purchased. Can't go wrong with this brand as it holds up to the most aggressive chewers.
