It actually seems to outperform my other external hard drive in terms of speed. I use it mainly as a back up drive for all my important files, and when it comes time to copy them over, it is quick and easy. I simply plug it in and begin sending files over. Files transfer quick and without any problems. I also like that it is slim and compact, making it easy to store. Yet when I was trying to transfer files I needed to be backed up it never accepted any transfer of any file type.I searched for a fix in the user manual but the translated instructions didn't make much sense and there was really no remedy offered. Before buying I must have missed the question another MAC purchaser with the identical problem asked.
