Value for Money
This is a good set to get you started and is excellent value for money.Individually the items could cost you a lot more.

Lovely little set
Arrived promptly and with everything as stated. This is a gift so I havent used it but I opened up one of the paints to check the quality. I had read on some other companies reviews that the paint had split but these looked perfect. Expensive product but if you were to buy all the items individually it would cost far more.

Good Starter set
Picture shows my first effort. It's a decent starter set with a couple observations - the Titanium White was a bit on the runny side rather than firm which is going to make mountain an tree trunk highlights much harder. There are also a couple key things missing ie thinner/cleaner and paint pallet. Then of course you will need an easel and pre-stretched canvases which aren't cheap. Still, it's a great hobby that Bob makes it easy to get decent results from :)

have just opend the box ,all was ok, untill i tride to play the disc, found that it was a blank ,i will need tobuy a lot more bob ross items as i have only just started to try my hand at painting, i am not sure if i should return the box, or just the disc ,

What a let down.
The paints don't match what you need to do the painting on the dvd. I have had to buy new paints that are not in the box so the statement that you have everything in the box to complete the painting is totally wrong. It was a Christmas gift that couldn't be used and after the year we have had it's just another kick in the teeth and another disappointment.
