Review: Good Product - These r the only seeds I will feed my African Gray. Others had dust in them that made me cough. He loves them and eats better. I do add a little palm oil because in the wild they live on palm nuts but this keeps him healthy even if I run out of palm oil.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this good for a Quaker parrot?**
A: I buy it for a Quaker parrot.  I'm not so sure it's the right seed since he/she throws out many of the ingredients.  It could also be that the bird is just fussy.

**Q: Why is there no expiration date?**
A: There is an expiration date on the back of the package. The vendor may have covered it with a sticker.  Mine that I just received have a date of 1/9/22.

**Q: Does this food contain pellets or extruded food pieces?**
A: It is mostly seeds with some small fruit chunks and it does contain a small amount of what appears to be more extruded food pieces.  They don't have the same texture as the pellets I feed my bird. Hope this helps.

**Q: Can this be served to a caique?**
A: I would think so.  My Grey is very picky and this is his favorite.  As long as your Caique can handle a sunflower seed I would think it would be ok.

All of our birds are crazy about this mix! I started giving it to them more often when I was running low on zupreem pellets. Now they expect it every night. :D We have a blue and gold macaw, 2 Amazons, and two goffin's. Normally some of them don't get along and I have to watch some good time before I put them in their cages. But now, now that they trained me to give them the seed mix every night, they wait for their seed and get busy eating as much as they can before it's lights out! they love sunflower seeds and I have never seen any problems with sunflower seeds so I discount things I have read online. They also love safflower seeds. And I have been really surprised that all of them except for one likes pineapple and mango I think it is and the banana chips and the little flattened chips that I think are corn or something? They pretty much like all. I have seen our birds completely ignore the pellets that come with some seed mixes, but they seem to like these too. I'm really glad that Amazon carries this mix. Oh and the most important thing is that there are no preservatives or additives that will make the birds sick!
