American Standard 2973202.011 Studio Integral Apron Bathtub Left Drain 60 in. x 30 in. in Arctic White

I did hours and hours of research into tubs, primarily focusing on which material was best for our budget (<$600). Here's the gist of my conclusions:*Cheap enameled steel and cast iron tubs tend to have low quality glazing and are more likely to have flaws in the enamel.*Cheap Acrylic tubs and cheap fiberglass tubs are flimsy and tend to flex and crack.*More acrylic tubs are available in the style we wanted (modern square design.)*Acrylic tubs reinforced with fiberglass are more sturdy than just acrylic.*Acrylic and fiberglass tubs need to be set in a mortar bed to reduce flex and risk of cracking.Although this tub was a little out of our budget, I thought it was worth it to get a reinforced acrylic tub from a recognized brand. It's definitely worth it! The finish is high quality, and there is no flex. HOWEVER, I had the tub professionally installed and made sure that he set the tub in a mortar bed.

I just send the delivery truck away with my second damaged tub --- both were cracked on the front wall/apron. Not surprised as there's no foam or packaging to protect those front wall corners. Project schedule is a mess now2nd unit also had some thin spots in walls. If you buy this, be sure to inspect for damage and maybe run a flashlight behind it and see if light comes through any thin spots.Disappointed. Thought I could count on American Standard product line.

Had it installed by pro. Looks way better than I thought. Everyone loves it and doesn't want me to install tub door. Said I sboud keep open so all can see! Lol but we know that's not happening. Very reasonable price for a very good tub . Soaking in it is real niceHigh walls and comfortable.

Water collects on both sides of the drain

i ordered this bathtub for an important job to install in a client’s bathroom and not only was the delivery delayed, but the tub also came broken on multiple sides.

I like how durable and spacious this bathtub is. The deep bathing well is an absolute game changer. The whole experience is just so relaxing. I do wish it was a bit more pocket friendly and had built in armrests. But all in all, it's a good one!
