The level of seeing into the future is unparalleled! This thing is great for blind spots, and if your side view mirror is "awaiting repairs"! I didn't know I wanted to be able to see so much in my mirror. It's wonderful and I actually upgraded from this rear view mirror to a separate electronic dashcam system. But in that time I also but another rear view mirror for my family to use too. It was so great, I had to share the awesomeness!

Our granddaughter is a new driver, and has really had trouble with the blind spots in her review mirror. This clip-on mirror significantly reduces the space for a blind spot, so she drives with more peace of mind. Maybe I just have more peace of mind when she drives me around. LOL. She changes lanes with confidence, and that used to be excruciating for her. I'm getting one for myself!

The only issue with this is that the mirror shows the inside top of the car. Other than that it is easy to install and snugs in. It won’t fall or move if you even hit a pothole. It’s thick, clear mirror and quality built seems to be thicker than most.

Have a manual mirror, so had to constantly switch back and forth during night driving to stop vehicle headlights behind me from blinding me with glare. During the first few minutes of night driving after installing this mirror, had a large pickup truck behind me with bright lights. I could look directly at the mirror and not be bothered by glare. i have read other reviews that things look too small using this mirror. Objects do look smaller, but it only took about 10 minutes of driving to adjust to that feature. The benefit of the convex mirror was apparent as I backed out of a space, and the mirror saw a car to my left that was not even picked up by my reverse camera yet. Would purchase this mirror again, as it provides valuable features at very little cost. Recommended.

Previous car has an auto dimming rear view mirror. Recently swapped to a Kia Soul that didn't have that feature. I really forgot how spoiled I was to have auto dimming, since everyone lately has been driving with their darn brights on instead of replacing the burned out bulb.Anywho, I would flip the switch to darken the mirror but I would forget to put it back as it makes it so dark. Installed the Kitbest mirror onto the factory one. Wow it's quite a bit bigger but thankfully I could still use my windshield sunscreen without issue. The mirror is wide angle view (think of how the fisheye lens on phone cameras are today). It allows you to see from your rear passenger windows all the way around. If someone has their brights on you are not completely blinded which is great. You never have to flip the switch for dimming anymore, which I love. The only thing that takes getting used to is the blue glass effect used to prevent being blinded, but not a big deal.I love how it really allows you to see a wrap around of everything behind you. I adjusted it to be slightly towards the passenger side of the car. Now I can see behind me and that blind spot on the right.

ideal is great, however, I didn't like that the anti-glare is 24/7, found the reflections to be funky due to the angle of the mirror and I didn't like that I could see the top and side of my own head. Driving the highway, I was worried of causing an accident as I didn't feel I could get used to the wide angles it provided. the installation was easy and I didn't experience any rattle or vibration from the pot holes. It had a nice snug fit. I'm 54 and kinda set in my ways, If you were to start out with this I think it could be very beneficial to a new driver.

Large viewing area. Very clear and no issue at night. Very helpful for blind spot monitoring.
