Favorite of all my Cookbooks
This has become my favorite cookbook of all time! The recipes are easy, accessible, and most importantly, delicious! Some of our favorites are Milk Beans from Tanzania, Potato Curry from Bangladesh, and Spiced Lentils from India. Today I am making a new recipe, Chicken Noodle Salad from China. (pictured) Really, every recipe I've made has been very well received from my family. Delicious and easy on the budget. I fI could only keep 1 cookbook, it would be this one.

A great cookbook
I have already tried 4 recipes from this book. Most of them have ingredients that can be found in your local supermarket or they suggest good substitutes. It’s the only cookbook I’ve ever read from cover to cover. The stories are both inspiring and challenging.

Favorite cookbook, prayers, and cultural experiences.
I first found this book in my library’s free book cart. I am 50 years old and this is my favorite cookbook to date. I have gifted it many times. 🙌🏻🥰 God bless

Great cookbook but poor kindle edition
This, along with More-With-Less, is an amazing cookbook with truly wonderful recipes. It’s a five star cookbook for content but a 1 star for the Kindle edition. The Kindle edition is chock full of typos caused by a very poor conversation from the print edition.

How to travel/and eat foods from around the world..without leaving home.
I have the hard copy in addition to the electronic. I love this book, shared with others. It has a history for all the dishes, inspirational notations and bible quotes. Eventhough the recipies are from other countries; it's almost everyday foods we eat, nothing fancy. The spices you can buy at a farmers market, Wholefoods, Trader Joe's. I had no problem with the spices nor foods. You can store tightly in the freezer for other or another dish...the farmers market sold it in bulk (spices, herbs) which is easier for me.

Easy International Cuisine
Extending the Table provides the average cook with easy adaptions of international recipes which have been written by people who themselves have lived in the countries this book represent. The encompassing idea of enlarging one's personal repertoire of foods to prepare and share encourages the user to think about the world outside their own country.

Don't buy the Kindle version
Extending the Table has been my "go to" cookbook for years, I often give it as a housewarming present but when I went to replenish my supply instead of going to "Ten Thousand Villages" I was tempted by the idea of a Kindle version.... Easy to look up favorites right? WRONG. No index, have to manually page back to find table of contents....awful really poorly done.So DON'T waste your money on the Kindle Version DO buy and use this terrific collection of world recipes.

An Awesome Cook Book!
A great book full of tasty recipes. Helpful to have a book that doesn't ask for a lot of pre-made ingredients. So many favourites in this book!

I have the original edition of this book and was ...
I have the original edition of this book and was very excited by this new edition coming out. The new edition is visually stunning and has a few extra recipes not in the original, however it also has some recipes missing which is unfortunate and a shame.
