I am a Microblading artist with 2 years of experience and have had to throw away over hundreds and hundreds of acrylic/plastic Microblading pen. I am also an advocate for the environment and was hoping I could find a pen that would be be more eco friendly and so I found this !!! It is very super light weight and holds almost any type of blade . Out of 5 only one split but it was still useable and held the blade snug . It split because I kept trying to screw it in as far as it goes but you can feel that it is tight and snug so you should stop when the blade is snug to avoid splitting. There is an abundance of waste in the permanent makeup industry and if I can eliminate one piece of waste, I will do that. These handles grip extremely well to my surprise. I use my 18U blades and round shaders and it holds well throughout the entire procedure. It looks like it's made of some kind of wheat material. The ends also have a little spatula like thing to do a pigment mask which works great.
