GYMNIC8040 Hop Fantasy 45 Ride on, Clear

I bought this hopper ball 5 years ago, and it was used nearly every day since then. It survived many parties with incredibly destructive kids we usually invite that destroyed a lot of toys at our house, even though it seems they tried hard (laying sharper toys on the floor and hopping over them). Even adults have used this hopper ball, and still only today did it finally give in and get punctured somewhere. We reinflated it, but without finding the leak and plugging it, I don't know how long that will last. Of course I promptly ordered another one, having experienced first hand how high the quality of this toy is. I say that because this isn't the first brand of hopper ball I purchased, and it was very disappointing to see upset little faces so sad after just one day of bouncing caused the new ball to go splat....ripped at the seams, and this was by much gentler kids who usually manage to keep their toys in good condition if they only use it themselves. I highly recommend this particular brand. You can actually see how thick the plastic is compared to most others like it since this is kind of transparent. Most importantly, this has remained the favorite after all these years, and it does provide good exercise hopping around like that. Even though they're sitting, it still requires a lot of energy and force to do all that hopping. I know because I've tried (on a bigger one that's meant for adults too). Good fun, and the only drawback is that it takes up a lot of space to store - but then again it's almost never in it's storage place since it's out being used over and over again day after day.

Our grandson has used this hop ball for the past two years and he is almost four years old. He has always been tall for his age and he weighs 45 lbs. now. The 18" hop ball has been just the right size for the past two years. He sits on it throughout the day and bounces in place and many times has bounced on it around the house. The ball is durable and he hasn't gotten hurt on it. It really takes a beating. The handle on it is just right for gripping. The long plastic plug inserts into the top of the handle (the plug which holds the air in the ball). Although it's possible to inflate it on your own like blowing up a balloon, it's much easier to use the special plastic pump which Amazon also recommends. The ball is made in Europe and comes with an extra plastic plug and plastic adaptor which we haven't had to use. I like the clear color of the ball with the colorful confetti design. It comes in a nice box with instructions on how much to inflate it (measure the circumference of the ball). It's well worth the money. Our grandson loves it and uses it a good part of every day! We only use it indoors. It was a good purchase.

Down graded to 4 stars because the adapter which was promised to attach to standard, Schrader value bike pumps does NOT attach securely. I have both a stand-up "big" pump and a little, portable pump that attaches to a bike frame. The adapter worked with neither. I had to blow the ball up with a straw which was necessarily limiting.

I rated this a 3 because "It's okay". It's okay because it works, but if I didn't have to pay for shipping again, I definitely would have taken it back. I'm sure most of you will get a perfectly fine hop ball, but ours arrived deformed. It has several bubbles that look funny, but it also has a few bulges where the material bumps out. Like I said, it fulfills its purpose, but I was very disappointed. And just a few notes: 1. The "clear" has a greenish tint just fyi, and 2. It is too big for my 2 year old. I would say it will take a good year before he will feel safe sitting on it. On the other hand, it does hold my husband's 175 lbs. no problem, so it's a toy that can be here for the long haul! I want to love it, but I would have to have a different ball to love.

Make sure to really inflate them. The ball looks like it might pop if you do, but they are durable.

My four-year-old daughter loved this Christmas gift. She and her six-year-old sister used it all the time, indoors, one at a time, on carpeting. And then, after 8 weeks, the rubber tore (near the top, not on any seam). I am currently trying to get a replacement, and will update this review if I do.Update: Amazon issued I full refund, which I used to buy a different Gymnic ball. That one has been going strong for several months. Not sure if the ball I got was a dud or if the Hop Fantasy in general is not as well made as their others. But with Amazon's customer service, you have the opportunity to test for yourself!

When I opened the package and saw the handle had a yellowish aged look I was unhappy, I mean it's a clear ball with multi colored stars inlaid, which brings me to another thing...there are flat bubbles all over the ball, some are firm so you know its the same thickness as the balk but other spots are thin feeling like it might cause an issue (ball popping), my son is 3 and about 40 lbs maybe n tall n this works well, but until I get an answer from gymnic on this handle and the bubbles I wont allow it to be used due to safety concerns

This is such a fun toy for our four year old! She had to work to develop the necessary balance (which I consider skill-building), but now it is easy for her and she loves it. They also supply a little booklet about how adults can use this for exercise! I plan to give it a try.

The ball is high quality and hours of fun. The one draw back is where the stopper is for filling. I think it would be better placed near the handle

Super Ball. Für unsere Tochter mit sechs Jahren und normal durchschnittlicher Größe, genau passend. Ist seit dem ersten Tag täglich in der Wohnung zur Fortbewegung im Einsatz. Bisher nicht einmal nachputzen müssen, nach 4 Wochen. Macht einen super robusten und qualitativ Hochwertigen Eindruck. Wir können den Ball nur empfehlen.

Resistente, divertente e molto carino. Mia figlia di 4 anni ci gioca sempre, non è nemmeno troppo ingombrante.

Déçu par le bas du ballon, la jointure pour gonfler se trouve sur le bas du ballon donc on saute dessus et je ne suis pas sur de la durée de vie du ballon du coup.
