3rd chain on trek powerfly4 with no issues at all

Been using these chains for years, more durable and reliable than anything else I've tried, and good value to boot.

Maybe i got a dodgy master link but I've never previously nearly broke my chain link plyers trying to open and lock any other master links including the very same chain the last time I changed it.strange

Great chain is really nice quality

Well, combined with a brand new Ultegra 10 speed cassette and a nearly new FSA outer ring this has given me dangerous chain suck the likes of which I've never experienced in over a quarter of a century psycling, maintaining and building bikes. Now I need a new 4601 rear mech (hard to come by now) Cannondale mech hanger AND probably a new chain to boot. I would certainly NOT recommend this KMC chain if you use a FSA chainset.

Missing link would not fit no matter how much I tried to get it to. So I removed a link and connected the chain through that only to have the chain snap at a different location on first trip.

Chain behaved like a chain until it suddenly snapped at high speed during downstroke. I fell off the saddle onto top bar with my feet scraping along ground. It’s a miracle I didn’t crash and injure myself. I’m sure I was just unlucky but chains shouldn’t just snap, especially after only using chain for less than 1000 miles. Back to Ultegra for my next chain.
